If a device has just one
use, you don't need it
Look around your house, your
closets are full of them
Those oh so tempting, and
over-advertised miracle gadgets
If you really took the bait,
they probably cost $19.95 each
and you got a bonus item for
"calling now" !!!
It's a miracle tool or a
miracle appliance
and it never worked like
they said it would on the commercial
and it only had one use to
begin with
I'm as guilty as the next
guy
I fell for the miracle can
opener, and the meat slicer,
and an endless stream of
single-purpose cooking devices
and the inability to
adequately clean them after each use
put them in the upper
kitchen cabinets to gather dust
The biggest problem with
these gadgets is
for $20, they're easy to
give during the holidays
and there's a steady stream
of something new every year
Re-gift them
immediately if you can
and just hope the giver
doesn't come snooping around
asking you if you love yours
as much as they do theirs
Ugh
!!!!
And if you can't unload them
that way
give them to charity during
a cleaning and clearing out adventure
You'll be surprised how good
getting rid of that stuff makes you feel
And be ruthless about
it
the regrets are
few
and you get over them
quickly
Decrapify your life
!!!
