The homeworld of the Chosen's digimon is a place called the Digital World. Once a lavish, beautiful place, it is now a shadow of what it had once been. Much of the Digital World has been ravaged by a denial-of-service attack, leaving the landscape distorted or destroying the data entirely. Digimon are said to be driven rabid by the data corruption.
