Rarity Chart
 General Rarities

COMMON:
All normal cards are Common. They feature nothing special. The card names are black or white, the pictures are solid color. The ratio of Commons is 8:1, meaning every pack will contain 8 Common cards.

NORMAL RARE:
Rare cards are the ones that are more valuable than simple Commons. The first classification of Rare is the Normal Rare. Their only special feature is their name: It is in silver foil. The ratio of Rares is 1:1, meaning every pack you buy will contain one Rare. It'll probably be a Normal Rare.

SUPER RARE:
Super Rare are next in line. These cards have black or white normal names, but the artwork is foil, a.k.a. holographic. The chance of having a Super Rare as your guaranteed Rare card is 1:6.

ULTRA RARE:
Ultra Rares are generally the most valuable of them all. These cards feature not only holographic artwork, but their card names are in gold foil. The chance of having an Ultra Rare as your guaranteed Rare card is 1:12.

SECRET RARE:
Secret Rares are just that. Every set has 2 of them, and they don't show up on official checklists. 1 is found in Retail Boxes, while the other is found in Hobby Boxes. The way to disinguish Secret Rares is simple: Their names are silver foil, whereas their picture is holographic with a special lined design.

 Other Classifications

PROMO:
A lot of cards released are Promos, though some may not look it. A few, however, do. They have holographic art with a lined design, and their names are a sparkling foil.

SHORT PRINT:
Some Common cards in the sets are called Short Print. They're harder to pull in packs than normal Commons, but aren't worth anything different. There's no known way to distinquish them from normal Commons.

SUPER SHORT PRINT:
Same as Short Print, except harder to find.

1ST EDITION:
When a Set is first made, the very first ever prints of the cards that are shipped out for sale are marked as being 1st Edition. All later printings are called Unlimited Edition. 1st Edition cards are generally worth more than Unlimited. Cards that are first edition are labeled as such underneath the card art.
