Pros-
You destroy a trap card ,and This card has a higher Atk and def
than trap master
Cons-
First of all this card has the same effect as trap master,but it
is a tribute. I don't think anyone would want to tribute for a monster
that has the same effect as a 3 starred one. Second I think it would be
a waste to sacrifce for a monster that has the same effect as another.

You get to destroy a trap and, trap master is not a tribute
Cons-
Not much,the only con about this I think is that it has low atk
and def. All your opponent needs is a stop defence(Must people would put
trap master in def mode)If your opponent uses stop defence and you
could lose alot of life points. Also when you flip a monster it goes in atk
mode.
Conclusion-
My conclusion is trap master is better. It has the same
effect as reapor of the cards, but it's not a tribute. You don't want to
waste a tribute for reapor of the cards. By offering 1 monster you can
summon a summond skull or Dark dust spirit.
