"Baring It All"

Protesters strip down to their underwear in front of the media and noonhour office workers to protest the GAP clothing manufacturer's use of child labour. The demonstraton was one of many that took place during the G8 Summitt meeting in Calgary in July 2002.

"Initial rumours were the protesters were going to go naked and the police would be ready to arrest them for indecent exposure. It was a real fight to get anywhere near the stripping protesters as media fought for the little room there was while fellow protesters complained about the media presence. I decided the event wasn't the protesters but the huge crowd of media present. Photographers easily outnumbered the stripping protesters 10 to 1."
