The idea behind this installation was to produce a theme from a square, the same size square.
On this page are the pieces assembled into their original squares after painting,
before I re-assembled them into their "boat" shapes and glued them down permanently.
I actually like the assembled squares below too,
but I had to follow through with my project and use them up.
But... coming next...maybe "The Circle"??? Umm!

Anyway...
There are 15 squares in the project and I will post them up as I complete them.
The original squares are 12 inches X 12 inches. A square foot.
The pieces are cut out board (Half inch waterproof Yacht-Ply... a little irony!)
The completed works are on black board,
and the individual pieces are painted artists Acrylic paint and varnished.
The following pages will show you the proposed finished re-assembled pieces.
The images on the following pages will not have a white border as shown.
The backgrounds are black (as mentioned)
and I only put a border around to show their approximate sizes.

I do not have specific background finished dimensions yet,
but they will mostly be 24-30 inches wide and 24 inches high max.
