BC Screen Name = famym Real Name = Amy Due Date = 12/08/02 Baby Details = Born Dec 9 2002; 8lbs 12oz; 20.5 inches Our little angel decided to begin her debut around 1:30am, I started having very intense contrax, but not regular, 15, 10, 6, 20, 5 mins apart. This went on till around 4ish when they became much more intense, still not exactly regular as far as timing but nothing I did could stop them, I showered, I walked the house, I tried to relax and sleep... Around 5:30 - 6:00am, I decided to call my Drs office and talk to a nurse, timing was still varying allot, she recommended I head on up to L&D and be checked. Arived at L&D just after 7:00am. I was monitored through about 5 contrax, checked in and moved to a room, nurse asked if I wanted an epi, I decided right then that there was no way I was going to live with out it. By 8:30am I had an epi in place, and working wonderfully. Dr came in checked me at 9:15am, she said I'll be back by 10, we'll have a baby by then. Everything progressed very quickly, and Danielle arrived at 10:35am, weighing in at 8lbs 12oz, and 20 1/2 inches long. We think shes absolutely perfect!
