(Nathan) We plan to always sing about our faith on our albums

(Nathan) Scheduled for the fall
How has being in this business from an early age changed you and your life?
(Nathan) I don't know...I guess we'll see. I feel like I am learning everyday.
How long have you guys been dancing? Did you learn to dance by taking lessons at a younger age? Did they have to teach you? Or did it come naturally?
(Nathan) I use to dance for fun, just playing around...but never seriously until I joined the group.
I really admire you guys for being so strong in your faith in God. I was wondering how you find the strength to proclaim your faith in your music, and what would you say to a teen who's willing to show other's his/her love for God but doesn't think he/she is strong enough to do it?
(Nathan) First, find out why you believe what you believe and be bold about your relationship with God.
I've noticed that you are all from different places in the U.S. How did you guys get together?
(Nathan) We came together through our manager and an Atlantic Record Executive.
How often do you get to see your family?
(Nathan) Sometimes...I would say every three months...sometimes even longer.

(Jason) 6/1/82
What do you want fans to come away with after attending a show or listening to your CD? Is there one message or promise from God that really describes your guys' musical mission?
(Jason) I want fans and people that come to our shows to feel the touch of Jesus. For them to sense his power to where if Jesus Christ isn't Lord of their life, they will by his Spirit receive him as Lord, or if already saved to be encouraged and strengthened through our testimonies and our songs. The message Plus One offers is that there is hope.
What is the craziest thing a fan has ever done to get your attention?
(Jason) Once this fan came through the signing table and she got down on her knees and asked me to marry her! I didn't know what to do. When she saw my face turn red she quickly jumped up and said... "I'm just playin'!" She really got me!
What was your first "real" job?
(Jason) Paper Route
Where do you guys stand on sexual morals, courtship or dating?
(Jason) We stand for abstinence as a group. Although not all of us are virgins, we have all committed to purity and holiness and choose not to walk in the ways that we use to walk. Some of the guys are dating. I prefer courtship, because it is a lot more protected. Among parents, Pastors, and friends, they know the details of your relationship. They help protect from hurt, abuse, and things that happen can happen when people isolate themselves.
Who are your greatest musical influences?
(Jason) Fred Hammond, Brian McKnight, Boyz to Men and a lot of other Gospel and R&B artist.
You guys are together 24/7. Don't you ever get sick of each other?
(Jason) Sure, we get sick of each other. It's like a family! Some days we don't feel like being with your brother or sister, but at the end of the day, you love each other and it all works out.
Are you guys going to have another music video before you put out your next CD?
(Jason) We shot a video in Singapore. That is the latest video. The reason we shot it in Singapore was because we were in SE Asia on a promotional tour and it worked out for us to do is there. I doubt we'll be shooting another video before our next record.
Do any of the guys own cars? If so, who drives what?
(Gabe) Yes, Nate drives a Honda Civic, Jason owns an old car. I don't know what it is.
Do you guys ever visit fan sites on the Internet?
(Gabe) Yes, all the time, whenever we are on the internet we are always checking stuff out by fans.
Are there any artists that you would like to do a collaboration with?
(Gabe) Yes, most of the guys have been influenced by Boyz to Men and Brian McKnight and would like to collaborate with them.
Gabe, Jeremy, Nathan: Do you guys feel left out? I mean not being liked as much as Jason and Nate?
(Gabe) Ha ha! (That's funny!)
If you guys weren't part of Plus One, what do you guys picture yourself doing right now (career wise)?
(Gabe) I think most of us would be in music doing something, or just involved in church somehow cause that's where are hearts are.
What's your favorite song to perform?
(Gabe) All of us have different songs but overall , I think it would be "Last Flight Out."
When did each of you become Christians?
(Gabe) For the most part all, all of us grew up in church, so we were saved at a very young age.
What are YOUR favorite kinds of music?
(Gabe) We listen to all kinds of music from Harry Connick Jr., Boyz to Men, Radio Head, and Michael Jackson.
Jeremy: What is your ethnic background?
(Gabe) I'm 1/2 Philippino and 1/2 French, caucasion--the white stuff.
Do you still believe that you will be doing this in 10 years? Will you still be in the ministry?
(Jeremy) I think we all know that no music group stays together forever, but 10 years from now I hope I'm still involved in the music industry...possibly even with the guys....and yes I hope to always be in the ministry.
Since you guys sometimes have weeks between concerts, what do you do during that time?
Where do I begin? Someone always finds some way to fill your calendar. There's photo/video shoots, rehearsals, press conferences, radio appearances, and yes... many times cute little questionnaires such as this one.
Jeremy: How did it feel the first time you were recognized on the street?
(Jeremy) Great, I guess, to realize your music or what you are involved with is being recognized is a cool thing.
What kind of things do you all do to stay healthy and in shape with such a busy schedule?
(Jeremy) It is funny, sometimes everything and other times nothing and both times it shows!
If you could each be any animal, what would you be and why?
(Jeremy) A Penguin. Must I explain? They're the coolest!
Do you guys answer fan email?
(Jeremy) Yes, as time allows.
I heard that you guys were featured in Bride magazine. Are any of you getting married?
(Nate) No way!!! Just Kidding... someday! Not anytime soon.
What kind of advice could you give someone thinking about music as a career?
(Nate) Be the best at what you do. Practice and take advantage of every opportunity to use your gift.
How do you think you've changed after getting a hit record and being so famous?
(Nate) Don't have any free time. Hopefully I haven't changed as a person, just my schedule.
I was wondering if you are going to sit down and play any musical instruments during your Spring tour?
Yes, right now on three songs... Gabe= guitar, Nathan=keyboards, Jason=percussion
Did any of your family members influence you in pursuing your career in music?
(Nate) Yes, my mom pretty much forced me to get on stage and sing when I was too afraid. My grandfather was a also a singer and songwriter.
Have any of you guys ever participated in "True Love Waits?"
(Nate) Yes, I signed a paper and participated since a very young age.

(Nate) 16 years old during my birthday party, in a surburban (My friends were all there too but they were asleep!)

(Nate) Nope! That's why it is an inside joke!!!!
