I have lost 5.5 pounds in the last two weeks so hopefully the platuea thing is over. I did take the food plan I was on and cut down on the protein and made the carb servings smaller. Gilad's plan allowed for 4 1/2 cups servings of rice and since I was on aDash diet and diabetes diet I know that they allow a serving to be 1/3 cup. The plan called for lowering the protein at 170 lbs, which I am nowhere near. I just figure that my body must be there in some sort of way.  My food plan now is breakfast: 1 oz lean protein, 2 starches(whole grain or rice or sweet potato) veggies if wanted. Lunch: 2 oz  of lean protein, 2 starches and huge raw salad. Afternoon snack; 1 nonfat dairy or soymilk, fruit, serving of nuts. Dinner: 4 oz lean protein and huge raw salad. Night snack: 1 nonfat dairy and 1 fruit.
My intake is at 1200- 1300 calories. I was eating between 1500 to 1800. My current weight is 217.5. so I thought I was another 50 lbs away from having to trim up the food plan. I do have muscles poping up everywhere so my body must be living in a seperate universe. Triming the extra food has been easy. I do now want to eat stuff when I am actually not hungry. So that takes some work and drinking lots of water.
