Our Wish List
There are many ways to help. I will go thought the ways each one is so important.
Socializing: To help make sure that each service dog is exposed to as much as possible, this will
ensure that no matter what our clients are doing in there everyday life the dog will take in stride.
Obedience: Not all our clients live close enough to take classes there for the extra hands will help to
ensure that each dog has the manners which are needed to aid in there every day lives. Besides all of
that, a well mannered is welcome in more places.
Walking and or exercise: We do not let our dog play in the house because we work in the house, play is
an allowed. We do send out two dogs at a time so that they can play and burn off some of there penned
up energy and then they are ready to work.
Puppy Parties: This is a great way or we to expose the puppies to allot of different people. This is a
great way for the puppy to learn that there is a playtime as well as a work time
Collars: At any given time we have dogs of all ages and sizes for the most
part we are recycling collars but there are times we have dogs that are in between sizes. When the dogs
go home to stay with their new partner the collars go, too so that does leave use with a limited amount
of collars. We also use only red collars when the dogs go home.
Leashes: We ideally like to use leashes that are different lengths, such as 4 ft, 6 ft, 15 ft, there is
always more dogs then leashes. We send our dogs to their new partners with only red leashes
Blanket (for Crate): We use blankets in the crates to ensure comfort and as puppies, it helps to absorb
any accidents. We also like to use a blanket on the floor to ensure that we leave no fur or mess from
our dogs when out in public
Crate (All sizes plastic preferred): The dog sees their crate as a safe place to be. Crate training is
a very important of every dogs life. We start our puppies out in a crate this not only helps with
house breaking Airlines will only ship dog in a crate if your dogs is already use to the crate the trip
with be far less stressful for them. Some airlines in Canada have a two Service Animal per flight so if
you are number three your dog must fly cargo. With a crate, trained dog traveling is a breeze. Their
crate is a friendly reminder of home
Food bowls: We like to use metal bowls because they are easier to clean and sterilize. All our dogs use
the same bowls from puppy hood forward. The bowls goes with the dog went it leaves.
Tennis Balls: We do allot of our training as playing and balls are great to start retrieving items
