The Do and Do Not's

DO NOT say, Here kitty kitty!
DO NOT make Kissing
DO NOT tell your children the dog bites
Do Not Hey puppy or doggie!
DO NOT freely pet the Service Dog.
DO NOT let your children freely pet the Service Dog.
DO NOT feed the Service Dog
DO NOT give the Service Dog any commands, That is the handler's job
DO NOT feel offended when you are asked NOT to pet the Service Dog

The Do's

DO just ignore the working Service Dog
DO teach your children that the Service Dog is working
DO remember Service Dogs are friendly, lovable, and are well behaved
DO know the Service Dogs love to work, and are well loved cared for.
DO keep in mind that a Service Dog has a very important job.
DO be aware that Service Dogs are allowed to go into any public place with a Person with a disability

To all Parents

I would hope that you explain to your children about why they cannot pet the dogs.
These dogs DO NOT BITE, or are not mean. We are not trying to be mean these dogs are some one's eye, ears, and legs and by distracting them can cause someone to be hurt or even worst.
I also want to mention that all the DO' s and DO NOT' s Also apply to Service Dog in training, and their wonderful Puppy Raisers too!
I know that when we see a really cute puppy most of us just want to go over and love on him or her, but we must all remember that those cute puppies in training are learning how to be Service Dogs, and MUST BE TREATED AS A WORKING SERVICE DOG
