All foster homes must have a signed, approved Foster Care Application on file with SADF This includes SADF representatives.
Foster homes should never attempt to place the foster dog. This is up to SADF Any person wishing to adopt the foster dog must fill out and sign a SADF Adoption Application, which includes a spay/neuter agreement.
Signed forms are especially important if you are fostering dogs obtained from a shelter-they are SADF and your legal protection.
