The Sun Interview Page Two...

Do you think that you could handle being in a real prison?
Nick B, Herts

No way. I am a big softie. I think most women in prison would be friendly and supportive to other inmates but I'd be scared I might come across someone like Shell.

Were you worried about playing a lesbian character on Bad Girls?
Kitty, Wigan

I wasn't worried about playing a lesbian although I saw it as a challenge. I was more worried about playing a psychopath.

Do you get fan mail from people in prison and how does the show go down inside?
Ruth, Leicester

I haven't had any come through to me so I haven't been aware of it being seen in prison.

What is it like to play such a bitch? I want to pursue a professional career in acting - have you got any tips?

Playing a bitch is fun.
See the advice, above, I gave to Charlie about acting, but I'd add you have got to be really determined.

Who is your best friend on the cast?
David, Nottingham

Shell and Denny are best friends on screen and because of this Alycia and I are great mates.

Does it bother you having to take your clothes off on screen as you did in both Playing The Field and Bad Girls?
Tom, Lincoln

Taking your clothes off on screen is embarrassing but when you are in character you forget about your own feelings because you are concentrating on your character's thought process.

What projects have you got lined up next?
Danny, Surrey

I am currently working on developing a couple of ideas for comedy shows but it is very early stages.
I'd still like to do more drama, if not film and theatre. But I know that it needs to be something completely different to Shell.

I know a couple of jailbirds and I must say you've nearly cracked it with your acting. Fancy a date? Tall, dark hair, blue eyes - surely you can send me a Visitor's Order!
Karl Oldham

Thanks for the offer but I'm not into shrivelled fruit!!
