Ian Loe, CISSP
Professional Experience:

Ian has been working on worldwide application for Multinational companies primarily focusing on emerging information technology including SOA and Web 2.0 technologies  with a rich experience in multinational multilingual systems.  He is experienced in software development for large multi server/location systems, specializing in browser based Internet applications.

Ian is particularly strong in international systems with an aptitude for building systems across networks and harnessing the Internet. He is considered a leader in e-Architecture, full lifecycle development, methodologies for analysis and design, and SOA architecture. He has authored Corporate IS standards, methodologies and has conducted many classes in emerging technologies.  As an expert in Asian systems, Ian has built multi countries/multi-language systems residing in one single location.

Ian has worked in 5 countries and brings with him a wealth of experience on International systems and industries ranging from property management and gold mining to Human resources and Insurance. As a senior at one of the top IT consulting companies in the world, he has integrated many of the local systems into single systems and has reinvented many of the processes to help the corporation harness emerging technologies. Working from small firms to large has given him the ability to understand the business needs of all sizes from dot com start-ups to Fortune 500 companies.
    
Training:

Ian graduated at the top 5% of his graduating class from Monash University in Melbourne, Australia with a double major in Computer Science and Information Systems and also with a GPA of 3.92 from his Masters of Science (Information Systems) from Pace University in New York. He has mastered and has taught classes in Object Oriented Analysis and Design, UML, Internet development, J2EE and XML and most recently on SOA and Web Services.

Ian is also CISSP and TOGAF 8.11 certified.

Co-authored a patent on SOA governance topology.

Introduced and laid groundwork for implementation of Service Oriented Architecture via Web Services on both distributed systems and mainframe platforms.

Introduced formal architecture practices and processes to a Fortune 500 company.

Created direct SQL access to DB2 and IMS on the mainframe to allow distributed application to harness data from legacy databases.

Led and mentored team which conceptualized and implemented migration of multiple legacy systems to a unified system based on J2EE standards.
