Asgard-home of the gods. To reach Argard one had to cross the bridge Bifrost (rainbow).

Niflheim-world of the dead (nifl-ice, heim-home)

Valhalla-hall of the slain. All those who died bravely in battle are taken to Valhalla by the Valkyries.

Odin-chief ruler of the gods, commander of the valkyries. He has a spear named Gungnir two ravens, Munin (memory) and Hugin (thought), his eight-legged horse Sleipner, along with Freki and Geri his two wolves.

Frigga-queen of the gods, goddess of the atmosphere. It is said that she knows everyone's destiny but never reveals it.

Balder-god of light and wisdom, best and most beautiful of all the gods.

Thor/Donar-god of thunder, his hammer was Mjollnir

s-god of war and justice

Frey
a-goddess of love, beauty, sex, magic, and witchcraft. Twin sister of Freyr.

y-god of peace, growing things, and fertility.

i-"god" of evil, fire and chaos-a giant

i-first god, father of Bor and grandfather of Odin.

Bo
r-son of buri, husband of the giant Bestla, and father of Odin, Vili, and Ve.

Brag
i-god of poetry, considered greatest of the bards. Son of Odin and Gunnlod, a female giant. Married to Idun, guardian of the apples of immortality.

Ei
r-goddess of healing.

Forseti/Forsett
i-god of justice and meditation. Son of Balder and Nanna.
