The The Free State is mainly flat country with some mountains on the eastern side, where it borders Lesotho.

This is know as the Eue of Zastron. A hole of about 30 feet
Legent has it that the devil thought that a farmers gun was a pipe and tried to smoke it. His head was blown through the hole and he said afterward that, that was the strongest tabacco he ever smoked.
