This is our dog Boomer. He was born Nov. 21 2004. We got him from the SPCA in Peru, NY.

When we first got him, the SPCA thought he was a Beagle/Boxer (as you can see in the first picture, he does kind of look like a beagle/boxer). However, it has since become clear that he has no boxer in him. He is either a pure beagle or a beagle/daschund. He's very short and long, and alllll nose.

He's a very good little dog. He likes to bark alot, and is a complete lap dog. He loves to snuggle and cries pathetically if left alone. He is exceptionally lazy at night, and very playful during the day. His favorite toys are rocks. He carries them inside the house from outdoors, and pushes them around the house with his nose, barking and making weird little dog sounds. He tries to bury them in the rug, but usually that doesn't work so well.

He recently had surgery for a torn ligament in his back leg. Because of that, he can only go outside on a leash (so he doesn't run and re-injure himself).

We highly recommend visiting www.petfinder.com if you are looking for a new member of your family. Support the SPCA!!

This is the most recent addition to our family, Lucy Lu. We got her from the Montgomery County SPCA. She is a black lab/weimaraner mix. She is very tall, slender and graceful looking (she is not ACTUALLY graceful, she just looks graceful. she is actually a complete goof-ball). She is a very sweet dog, and she adores Boomer. She is very quiet (no non-stop barking, unlike boomer) and gentle, but also very energetic and playful. She follows us around everywhere.

These pictures are from when she was a puppy - hopefully I will be able to add more recent pictures soon.
