Fly Spy
There's an eerie phobia growing on my wall.
It sheds its skin and lets it fall
Across my palms that sweat whenever
Answering midnight telephone calls.
There's a fly in my room, seeing every move
As it looms over my privacy shield.
It flies 'bove valley, takes a tally,
And returns to an invisibile field.
The attacks are numb.
It defies my personal settings,
And it rides around in circles,
Disrupting the bedding.
No swatter for the fly spy!
In and out, in and out of my...
No water held, a leaking well-
Your shallow aliby.
Where were you? What a lie.
In and out, through my hand,
Takes it's time, or so it seems
Just because it can.
It had a voice just like you.
Fly spy upon my wall, shew!
There's a magnifying glass
Making the cover on my light.
It dialates me to surrender
My eyes to the bright.
Hint's so slight-
Feeling somethings's ever there.
That unique chord struck by
A cutting cross-room stare?
Round every corner, observing each move,
To every action and reaction
A hidden buzz so smooth.
It's on a mission espionage.
And now it's target is me,
Kindly tell me why you think
Your secret eyes are free?
No swatter for the fly spy!
In and out, in and out of my...
No water held, a leaking well-
Your shallow aliby.
Where were you? What a lie.
In and out, through my hand,
Takes it's time, or so it seems
Just because it can.
It had a voice just like you.
Fly spy upon my wall, shew!
Find another personal sphere to invade.
No tresspassing here on the green and gray.
Intruder alerts and false securities,
Made-up creepy, stalky feelings,
I know somebody's watching me!
Get out! Get out! Away!
Fly, you little spy, flit away!
