Silhouettes

Night falls on my pillow,
And the silhouettes of you and I
consumes my dreams,
Mist fills the air, and bathes our
flesh with oiled creams.
Candles flicker around our goosedown bed,
With the lace curtains blowing above
our heads.
Our bodies touch so carefully
Years of waiting,
Our love comes so naturally.
Our souls are bound with the threads
from our hearts,
Together forever,
Never to part.
