maybe more than I should have.
My feelings for you went too far
and I got scared.
I wasn't actually going away,
I was running away....
from my feelings for you.
Things got too serious
too fast....
Maybe if we would have slowed down some,
none of these bad feelings would have come.
Even though our relationship
as lovers didn't last,
I hope and pray that our relationship
as friends will.
