William Lynch b. 1747 Va. SC.???d. 5 Dec. 1821 Greenville Dist. Sc.  Married ca. 1773 to Mary Motley.
NOTES: William Lynch's father was killed by Cherokees 1760-61 in the French and Indian War. Don't know his name.
NOTES: on July 3, 1776 William was shot in the eye by Cherokee Indians. Blinded his right eye and caused him to have seizures.

William lived on Greens Creek, Greenville Dist. SC. Grand surveyed Sept 22 1784. He lived there until he died. He was a farmer and owned 130 acres.
