Oct. 1955. Restraining order against John and Ed Little, to do with construction of Hwy. 270. (According to Grandma Maggie Little, the crews who were paving Hwy. 270 were going to tear the Littles fence down, which inclosed their milk cow. The fence was far back from the road and they felt it was unneccessay for the road crew to tear down the fence. On the day the road crew came through the area, John told Grandma Maggie to sit on the porch with his .22 caliber rifle, and to shoot anyone who touched their fence. (Maggie was 73 years old at the time - she sat on the porch with the rifle and the fence wasn't touched.)
