| God has angels in all sizes, shapes, and forms, Not all are perfect, I know. Some go to Heaven in just a few days, Others before they are born. Jabez was so tiny - just a few inches long, But he was perfect in all other ways. He had fingers and toes, and a heart that was beating, But, on this earth he didn't belong. We wanted to hold him and rock him to sleep, But it just wasn't meant to be. He had other plans he had to attend to, ....but, he didn't plan to make us weep. He went to see Jesus who was with his big brother, They run and play in the clouds. They smile down on earth every time the sun shines, On their sisters, brother, father, and mother. We loved you Jabez - little angel so small, Though your life here was so very short. But your little life is not insignificant, With you, God blessed us all. |
