| What If What if... You opened a book about dinosaurs and one stumbled out and another and another and more and more pour until the whole place is bumbling and rumbling and groaning and moaning and snoring and roaring and dinosauring? What if... You tried to push them back inside but, they kept tromping off the pages instead Would you close the covers? Isabel Joshlin Glaser |

| Dinosaur A Dinosaur knocked at my door I said "I've never seen your type before." He said "I'm new in this time,so could you help me find A few other creatures of my kind?" I said "My friend, come on in. The story has a very sad end. "All the ones who came who came before us Like Stego,Tyro and Brontosaurus Have vanished into ancient ooze. I'm sorry to have to break the news. But the mighty creatures who trampled the soil Are now just fossils, dust and oil. Why they went,no one can say. But you won't find them here today." He was very sad.He looked so bad I gave him all the Koolaid that I had. After he drank,he said,"Well, thanks" But I could see that his spirit sank. He said"Good-bye,"and walked down the street. He left his footprints in the concrete. I wonder if I'll ever see him In the zoo,or a museum. I'll take him in,but he's colossal. What can you do with a living fossil? Stuart Stotts |
