MONDAY--Web Design Basics Book
1. Each person in the class will be assigned a term.
2. You will read the definition carefully and then be called upon to explain the term to the rest of the class.
3. Here are your assignments:
Rita--WWW, Web site
Jessica B--Web pages, http
Jessica G--Internet, Web browser
Tishala--packets,routers
Rick--connecting to browser, hyperlinks
Jeremy--web index, search engines
Stefan--web speed, modem,downloading
4. Everyone do the step-by-step 1.7 p. 15.
5. Everyone type the Review questions p. 16-17--do the t/f, fill in blanks.
6. Save, label, and print.
TUESDAY:
1. Review with teacher Lesson 2 p. 19-23.
2. Complete the table in step by step 2.2 p. 24. Just do steps 1-3.Use the list of websites on p.32.
3. Discuss with class the results.
4. Review p. 25-26--Phase 2 with teacher.
5. Do step by step 2.3 p. 26.
6. Type up your results--be prepared to share your findings with the class.
7. You will be using the smart board to show your site and explain the price of building such a site.
WEDNESDAY:
1. Read p. 26-27 Step by step 2.4.
2. Break into groups as follows:
Rita and Jessica G.
Jessica B. and Lashala
Rick, Jeremy, Stefan
3.Pick one of the sites you reported on yesterday and make a diagram similar to the one on p. 27.
4. Be prepared to explain your organization of the page to the class.
THURDSAY:
1. Review with teacher p. 27-29.
2. Complete step by step 2.5 p. 29.
3. Label, save and print
4. Complete the review questions p. 30--t/f and fill in blank.
