Welcome to NEJ Biz-Ed Classes!
Hi, I'm Debbie Griffin, your computer teacher. My educational credentials include an AA from Jones Junior College, a BS in Business Education from USM, and a Master's degree in Business/Technolgy Education from MSU. I have also attained my National Board Certification and more recently trained as a professional Master Teacher in the Intel Teach to the Future Program. Also, Gov. Haley Barbour has asked me to be a member of the Governor's Teacher Advisory Council this year. I am honored to be chosen for this prestigious position.
I certainly enjoy the computer and I also enjoy teaching teenagers computer skills.
I know you are a very smart student because you are in a computer class. Computer skills are essential in your world today and I want you to be successful.
This page is important to our class because you will access it each day for your assignment.
Click on your class on the right to see what we will be doing for the day.
Read the instructions carefully and then complete your assignment.  Refer back to your assignment page each day.

TIPS FOR SUCCESSFUL STUDENTS:
1.  Read all instructions carefully before you begin.
2.  Listen to my instructions and demonstrations.
3.  Try to do the lesson on your own.
4.  If you have a problem, go back and read first.
5.  Then check quietly with your neighbor and see if you can work out your problem.
6.  Finally, raise your hand to get help from me.

***I am here to help as much as possible, but if you find the answer for yourself you will remember it longer.  Just remember that I have large classes and you will have to be patient until your turn.  Thanks for your understanding!***
