WEEK OF FEBRUARY 22, 2005

TEXTBOOK:  Computer Projects Basics

EACH DAY WHEN YOU ARE DONE, CHECK TO MAKE SURE YOU ARE CAUGHT UP WITH YOUR WORK, THEN TYPE IN MAVIS

MONDAY:
1. Holiday--Presidents' Day

TUESDAY
1. Read directions beginning on page 81-Project 16--page 83.
2. Type the letter on page 82
3. Look back at the example letter and use proper spacing
4. You will use your name at the end of the letter, so do not put a label on the letter.
5. Save as Project 16, label, and print one copy.
6. When done, see me for make up work. Others can work on the coloring book drawing.

WEDNESDAY
1.Open a new blank document
2.Label the first section as "Word Processing--Lesson 1"
3. Type the words on p. 75 and then type the definitions
4. DO NOT PRINT YET--Save!

THURSDAY
1. Watch as teacher demonstrates how to set tabs p. 85-88.
2. Practice the step by step 2.1 p. 87
3. Begin the letter--project 17--read all directions
4. TIP: SET THE TABS BEFORE YOU BEGIN YOUR LETTER!
5. Again, type you name for the label.
6. Print and save

FRIDAY
1. Watch as teacher demos an outline
2. Do step by steps 3.1 and 3.2
3. Do project 18 following directions carefully
4. Label, save and print
