On the 20th of June 2001 my wife and I flew off to the island of Mauritius for 9 days of relaxing on the beaches of Grande Baie and enjoying a bit of diving.  June / July is the coolest time of the year in Mauritius with day temperatures peaking at 27 ° C and the water temperature a constant 24 ° C . 

The water has a beautiful blue color and despite any wind or wave conditions, the visibility seems to remain incredible. 

We did six dives, I floated around with my Sony P1 and took all pictures on the pages to follow.  Please excuse this site as construction has just begun.
