WAFFLES4> 3 eggs 2 cups sour milk *(can put 2 Tbsp vinegar in a 2 cup measuring cup and add enough milk to reach the 2 cup mark) 2 cups flour 1/4 tsp salt 2 tsp baking pwd 1 tsp baking soda 6 Tbsp melted butter Separate yolks. Beat yolks until light. Add 1 cup of sour milk and beat. Stir together dry ingredients and add alternately with 1 cup sour milk. Stir in melted butter. Beat egg whites til stiff and fold in last. Bake in hot waffle iron. |
