RICE KRISPIES MARSHMALLOW TREATS

1/4 cup margarine or butter
1 pkg (10 oz, about 40) regular marshmallow
or 4 cups miniature marshmallows
5 cups Kellogg's Rice Krispies cereal

Melt margarine in large saucepan over low heat.
Add marshmallows and stir until completely melted.
Cook over low heat 3 minutes longer, sitrring constantly.
Remove from heat. Add cereal. Stir until well coated.
Using buttered spatula or waxed paper, press mixture
evenly into buttered 13 x 9" pan. Cut into squares when cool.
Yield: 24 squares, 2 x 2 inches.

Variation:
Peanut Butter: Stir 1/4 cup peanut butter into
marshmallow mixture just before adding cereal.
