ROSETTES

1-1/2 cups flour
1 cup milk
2 eggs
2 tsp. sugar
1/4 tsp. salt

Sift flour, sugar and salt together.
Beat eggs slightly and add milk.
Pour liquid into dry ingredients.
Beat with rotary mixer till smooth.
Heat oil to 365 degrees. Dip iron in
hot oil for 30 seconds, remove, drain;
dip in batter even to the top. Place
in hot oil and fry till golden brown,
about 1-1/2 to 2 minutes. Loosen gently,
drain on paper towel, dip in sugar.
Heat iron again and repeat.
