(I double this recipe - I've put both measurements)
1/2 cup margarine (1 cup for double recipe)
1/3 cup peanut butter(2/3 cup for double recipe)
1/2 cup sugar (1 cup for double recipe)
1/2 cup brown sugar (1 cup for double recipe)
1 egg (2 eggs for double recipe)
1 tsp. vanilla (2 tsp for double recipe)
1-3/4 cups flour (3-1/2 cups for double recipe)
1 tsp soda (2 tsp for double recipe)
1/2 tsp salt (1 tsp for double recipe)
Bag of: Candy Kisses or Chocolate Stars (large bag for double recipe)
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Beat together margarine and peanut butter.
Add sugar and brown sugar.
Beat well and add egg and vanilla.
Stir in flour, soda and salt.
Form into balls the size of walnuts.
Roll each ball in granulated sugar.
Bake on ungreased cookie sheet for 8 minutes.
Remove from oven and place candy kiss or
chocolate star in center of each.
Return to the oven and bake another 2 minutes.
