APPLE CRUMBLE PIE4> 1 cup sugar 2 Tbsp flour lemon juice 6 cups sliced apples (5 - 6 granny smith) Pie Crust (may use one of my recipes) 1/2 cup flour 1 tsp cinnamon 1/4 cup butter Combine 1/2 cup sugar and 2 Tbsp flour. Sprinkle apple slices with lemon juice. Add sugar/flour mixture and toss to coat. Fill pastry lined 9" pie shell. Combine remaining 1/2 cup sugar with 1/4 cup flour. Add cinnamon. Cut in butter til crumbly. Sprinkle over top of pie. Cover pie shell edge with aluminum foil. Bake at 375 degrees for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake another 30 minutes. |
