For a while, Keiler & Debbie took up visiting a local nursing home.
Keiler's calm, polite personality was perfect for the residents, and he enjoyed
getting attention as much as they did. When we pulled up outside the home, he
knew where we were, and got excited about seeing all his friends. After taking
on a full time job and part time school, we don't have time to go visit any
more. (Click on any of the smaller pictures to see a larger one.)
One of the things that people comment about the most about Keiler's
appearance are the cute little tassels of hair on the tips of his ears. These
aren't part of the "regulation" Cairn haircut - but we love his tassels - they
wave behind him when he's running or hanging out the car window, and he looks so funny. We've trimmed them off before, but we like him better with them.
By the way, we made the background for this page, using one of his photos.
You're welcome to borrow it, and Keiler would really like it if you would link
back to his page.
This is our Cairn Terrier, Keiler. (rhymes with "Tyler.") He adopted us in October of 1996. He is about 10 years old. When his previous human passed away, he came to us. Though he loves everyone, he does like to hang out with the adults more - certain ones in particluar. He especially loves the ladies. (Keiler - the LADIES' man)

This picture was taken at
the "Pet Portrait Day" held
at Concord Pet Supply at
Chestnut Run on May 2, 1997.
Keiler allowed the others to be in the
picture because he's such a nice guy.
Here's one I took in March 2001:
By the way, the person
who dared to humiliate him this way was
later flogged within an inch of her life.
Bathtime for
Keiler! Check these out.
(He
doesn't know these photos are on the internet, by the way.
Don't tell him!)
