"Will of Abraham Crow (Pickens County, Georgia) [1880]"
I, Abraham Crow of said state and county, knowing the uncertainty of life, deem it both right and proper as respects my family and myself that I should make a disposition of the property with which a kind providence has blessed me, do therefore make this my last will and testament, hereby revoking and annulling all others heretofore made by me.
Item One- I desire that my body be buried at Refuge Church suitable to my circumstances and conditions in life in a decent Christian like manner, my soul itself will return to God who gave it.
Item Two- I desire and direct that my Executrix and Executor hereinafter mentioned, named and appointed, pay all my just debts without any unnecessary delay.
Item Three- I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Phoeba Crow, with whom I have lived and loved all my real estate. Towit: Lots of Lands numbers one hundred and sixty and one hundred sixty four and one hundred and sixty five, all lying and being in the thirteenth district and second section of Pickens County, state of Georgia; and all my personal property of every description, monies, notes, and accounts that I may die seized and possessed except such as may be necessary to pay my just debts and pay taxes from year to year, if necessary, during her natural life; nothing in this item to be so construed as to prevent my wife from using or trading any of the personal property for any comforts necessary for her or ot prevent the Executrix and Executor from selling real estate or personal property to pay my just debts and taxes during my wife's lifetime.
Item four- I desire and direct that all my real estate mentioned in the foregoing third item of this will that is not disposed of a directed in said item, after the death of my wife, be equally divided between my seven sons, EDWARD CROW, THOMAS A CROW, HENRY K. CROW, McKINNEY CROW, JOHN CROW, JAMES CROW, and EZEKIEL CROW. Said land to be run off in seven parts and valued and then drawn by lottery if it cannot be satisfactorily arranged without said lottery either on all of my sons having the right to transfer the interest to take effect at the death of my wife and if either or any of my sons should die before my wife, then their interest to vest in their children, if there be no children; the interest to vest in the other brothers.
Item five- I desire and direct that all the personal property at my wife's death be equally divided between my daughters Anna Crow, Susan Willbanks, wife of Bird Willbanks, Lureua Rider, wife of C B Rider, Malinda Carney, wife of William Carney, Diana Little, wife of Henry Little, Elizabeth Pinyan, wife of Jeptha Pinyan, and my two grand-daughters and one grand-son. William E Phoeba, Jr and Nancy M Lindsey, children of Sereua Lindsey, on equal share with each of my daughters.
Item six- I desire and direct that my executor and executrix give to my grand-daughter Sarah J Crow, daughter of my son William Crow, deceased, to the value of ten dollars in household or kitchen when she married or gets a house of her own.
Item seven- I desire and direct that there shall be no appraisement of my estate required of my Executrix and Executor and futher that no annual report shall be required of them of my estate and if it should become necessary to make any sales of property as mentioned in item three of this will, that they make the same without an order from the ordinary and at private sale.
Item eight- I do hereby constitute and appoint my wife Phoeba Crow and William Tate Executrix and Executor of this my last will and testament.

This will gives us an explicit listing of living sons of Abraham Crow in June of 1880. Therefore, any of the sons with unknown death dates can be annotated as occurring after Jun 1880.
It also lists "William E Phoeba, Jr. and Nancy M Lindsey, children of Sereua Lindsey..." which I have not determined. It is possible, if not likely, that Sereua is actually Lureua and "Phoeba, Jr and Lindsey" are from previous marriages.

Know all men by these presents, that we Abraham Crow principal Lemuel G Carney security are held and firmly bound unto W. H. Simmons Ordinary of said county and his successors in office in the sum of seventy-five hundred dollars for the payment of which sum we bind ourselves, our heirs, executors and administrators jointly and severally firmly by these presents--sealed with our seals and dated this sixth day of June 1870.
The condition of the above obligation is such that whereas the above Abraham Crow is this day appointed Guardian to Thomas Townsend--heir of Edward Townsend dead. Now if the said Abraham Crow do well and truly demean himseal as guardian agreeably to law in such case made and provided; Then the above obligation be void. Else of full force and virtue tested.

Know all men by these presents, that we Abraham Crow principal and Ezekial Townsend and John Worley securities are held and firmly bound unto the ordinary of said county and his successors in office in the just and full sum of one thousand dollars for the payment of which sum we bind ourselves, our heirs, executors and administrators, jointly and severally. Sealed with our seals and dated this first day of July, 1878.
The condition of the above oblication is such that whereas A. Crow has been appointed Guardian to Goerge W Townsend idiot. Now if the said A Crow do well and truly demean himself as guardian agreeable to law in such case made and provided the above obligation to be void. Otherwise to remain in full force and binding. Signed and acknowledged before me in open court--July 1st, 1878.

Know all men by these presents, that we Phoeba Crow, W T Crow, McKinney Crow, James A Crow, Thomas A Crow, John M Crow, Edward Crow, Ezekiel Crow, and William Tate securities and held and firmly bound unto his honor W. B. Allen Ordinary of said county and his successors in office in the sum of three thousand two hundred dollars for the payment of which well and truly to be made, we hereby bind ourselves, our heirs, executors and administrators firmly by the presents--signed, sealed and dated this sixth day of December, 1881.
The condition of the above obligation is such that whereas Phoeba Crow has this day been appointed Guardian of the person and property of Thomas and George W Townsend, idiots of Edward Townsend deceased. Now if the said Phoeba Crow do well and truly demean herself as such guardian according to law and the provisions of guardianship, then the above bond shall be void. Else of full force.
