Many dates stick out this year for me, Jan.13th. I put my beloved dog of 13 years to sleep. He had advanced cancer. Through the course of the year me and my family lost many pets to old age, cancer and diabetes but nothing can compare to the loss we all felt on September 11th. I know this day will be forever etched in my brain. Images of those beautiful buildings on fire still haunt me and forever will. We all live in fear nowadays in one way or another but maybe, just maybe the new year will bring a little hope to a world with a broken heart. |
