This starts at a very early age and you may not notice the effects right now (depending on your age), but over time the damaged caused by free radicals  weakens your immune system.  Your body then becomes very  vunerable to disease. 
I recently read an article by a doctor that started out with "READ THIS OR DIE", It dealt with alternative cures to certain diseases, but the bottom line was that all of us must fortify our body with the proper balance of  vitamins, minerals, amino acids and herbs to help our immune system fight against illness.  Your own body is the miracle...good nutrition just gives it the strength to do battle against the junk thrown into our bodies on a daily basis, voluntary and non-voluntary.  We need to harness the healing power of our own immune system to help us win this battle.

According to an April issue of Wall Street Journal, 70% of Americans do not eat properly due to  our current lifestyles. If both parents have to  work, fast food is a great option for a quick and easy meal, as are boxed, processed foods. I fell right into this category, and I began to worry about the future harm I was doing to my kids health. We have slowly starting changing our eating habits along with taking Reliv, two times a day.

My Light Finally Came ON!
I grew up an athelete, in good shape and never really worried about what I ate. I lived on good old American food: MacDonalds, macaroni and cheese, Kentucky Fried Chicken and anything that you can make with ground beef.  It wasn't until I got older (I'm almost 40) and stopped working out that I began to understand the important relationship between eating right and eating junk and how I felt.  I know that may sound kind of stupid...that I just figured it out, but the effects of eating junk didn't start to show until now.

I finally realized that  when I ate  junk foods and foods with lots of preservatives and fillers,  I felt sluggish, I got heartburn, my legs ached, I didn't sleep well and most every morning I woke up with a headache and felt as though I had slept in the shape of a pretzel the night before.  Everything hurt and I assumed it was because I was getting older.  Not long ago,  I looked in the mirror and at the circles under my eyes, felt the pain in my back and my aching head and thought, "Is this as good as it gets?"
Then one day, by pure fate, my life changed!
