Deborah Lough Costumes
Historically accurate clothing for all periods
Deborah Lough Costumes specializes in the production of high quality, well researched historical clothing.

Our work has encompassed virtually every period of history, from the ancient (Egyptian), to the very-nearly-modern (1940s and 50s).  We produce all types of clothing, both military and civilian, (often overcoats to underwear),  including children's clothing, and from all levels of society.  We also make child sized versions of adult clothng, for educational use.
Our customers have included museums and stately homes, theatre, television, (e.g. The National Trust, English Heritage, Royal Armouries, BBC) and re-enactment groups and individuals internationally.

We could not possibly publish here all details of our work, but below can be seen a small sample of past pieces.

In memory of Vlad the Cat
Anyone who has visited us for measuring or fitting will be sad to hear that Vlad was hurt in a road accident 17.3.03, and later died of his injuries.
He was a beautiful animal, and will be missed by everyone.
