Santa Clause Is Coming to Town
This experience happened the Summer of 2000.
I had been cleaning house all day, rearranging furniture and such. I had just went into the kitchen to get a glass of water when I heard music playing.
It was Christmas Music.!!! In the Middle of Summer???? I walked around trying to find the location in which the music was coming from. We live in an old house that was built more than 80 years ago. With a Handcrafted fireplace that stretches from one side of the room to the other, that also include Book cases with glass paneled door fronts that are built on both sides of the fireplace.
I found these cabinets a great place to store my Christmas knick Nacks And other breakable items Out of reach from the grandkids.
At the time there was a chair in front of the bookcase where I could hear the music coming from. I Had to pull the wingback chair out of the way to get to the bookcase.The sound was getting louder as I got closer to the bookcase. I recognised the song as the snowglobe the kids had gotten me for Christmas. I opened the door And the snowglobe was sitting on the shelf. It was playing the song. I also noticed something else about it. The glitter inside was stirring, settling to the bottom.There was no one in the house with me all day, So who could have not only stirred the glitter in the glassball But also Turned the key on the bottom to make it play? But of course I turned to see that the Steel Storm door was still
locked and it was.
Just as I picked up the snowglobe it stopped playing. I was kind of nervous, But kind of excited at the same time. Just then I caught myself saying outloud to no one that I could see.. Yes I know, I love Christmas too.!!! And with that I placed the snowglobe back in its place, and closed the doors.
