Animals are all around us.  Animals are categorized into several groups.  You are going on a hunt to look for animals you know and discover new animals that can be grouped in three types of groups.  Today you are discovering the many different types of MAMMALS, FISH, and BIRDS

3. Complete at least 2 activities from each animal group correctly. Turn the activities in to your teacher or use them as a resource for poster.

4. MAJOR PROJECT: Choose one group and design a poster that describes the groups characteristics and list at least 7 animals that are in that group.  Your poster will be evaluated using the provided rubric that can be seen in the evaluation section of the quest.

RESOURCES:
Student pages are provided that show real pictures of animals from each of the three groups.  Each animal has an activity that goes with it.  The activities include coloring pages, dot-to-dot, math fun, or informational details.  Each animal page provides a link to a fact page.  Students may need adult assistance using the back key to return to the quest after linking to each activity
