Minerva Payne: Old witch, yet doesn't look a day over 30. Practically an immortal. She runs the Payne Estate.

Alexandria 'Alex': Pure shapeshifter, Lawyer, employed by Reannikki and assists Minerva in running the Payne Estate.

Onyx Maharie: Alchemist, scientist, young vampire, shapeshifter. She is a royal pain in the ass. She does what she wants, when she wants, bad or good, consequences be damned. She is all about the pleasures of life and getting what she wants. She lives in the guest house at the Payne Estate. She has created a lotion for vampires that 100 % blocks the sun and she�s made a nice nest egg for herself selling this product and others. She is currently attempting to manufacture more blocking products for vampirism, doing product testing on herself. She may have discovered a vampire suppressant. Another potion she sells is Grow: A good seller with youth, in make the drinker 15 to 25 % larger and in rare incidences 50% larger.

Laura Alden: Werewolf, artist. Used to live with Ishpiming, Noita, & Ronan. Sister by choice to Ronan.

Ronan Hurlee: Selkie (seal). You will never see Ronan with shoes on. She loves to barefoot and she loves the water. She is usually employed as a lifeguard, and is currently employed as one at V.H. Ronan has been on her own since she was little. As a pup, seal hunters came and killed her colony. Leaving her all alone, as she was the only survivor thanks to her mother hiding her. Lives in a worker cottage with Ishpiming and Noita. Sister by choice to Laura.

Noita Blake: Witch in training, half elf. She is being trained by Minerva and lives in a worker cottage with Ronan and Ishpiming.

Emery Summerwynd: Fire elemental (firestarter). She is a thought to be failed early experiment of Mr. Valenteno�s. Once she hit puberty her ability surfaced. She�s been under constant surveillance and once she became an adult, she was invited to live in V.H. Runs Jumping Java Coffee house and night club, makes an excellent cup of coffee and mixes one hell of a drink.

Ivy Leafington, M.D.: Poison Ivy. Dr. Leafington is the resident physician on the island, hence her knowledge is vast.

Belladonna Night: Part demon, part vampire, part sorceress, part who-knows-what-else. She comes from the demon world. You hope you never meet her in a dark deserted alley.

Gillian: Wood Pixy. Attunement to animals (beastmaster). Although Gillian looks like a child, she is an adult. She uses Onyx �Grow� potion when she needs to. She lives in a cottage in the woods, communicates with critters, befriends them and helps heal them. Some come to her for her veterinary skills.

Vita: Giver of life. She can make things grow and live.

Fortune: She has such good luck, she can't die, get sick, or age. She used to be a street rat, stealing to make it on the streets until Reannikki found her. She still does the occasional cat-burglary but now when she does, it is high-society, high-stakes. She lives the good life even though she�s a biker chick. She�s good friends with Onyx.
