Cyber-Mech Ninja Clan By: Galen Muhammad Mission 5 Previously: Elijah and Taj confront their evils twins. They decide on a fight after the mission is complete. Meanwhile, Brandon and Keith are seen exiting an anime store. Suddenly the Kuro Kage military gives an announcement and puts a bounty on their heads. They go underground to try and recover their commandeered MCUs. But fate wasn't on their side as a flood of water washed through the tunnel after their evil counterparts told the captain of the mission of their location. Keith uses the safety of the ladder to keep from being washed away, but gets captured by a Kuro Kage soldier. Brandon, who has been washed down the tunnel, and cast out into the air, doomed to fall to his untimely demise. (Brandon continued his rapid descent to the ground below. He looks around desperately for anything to help him. About ten feet down he spots a metal pipe sticking out of the concrete wall.) Brandon: What luck! If I could just get a hold of that pipe I can jump the other twenty feet with minimal damage. But can my arm withstand the force? I hope so. (Brandon reached out toward the pipe and at first it seemed that he wasn't going to reach it, but with luck he grasped it in a tight embrace. He almost cheered in triumph until his arm ripped out of its socket.) Brandon: Shit! I knew that would probably happen. I have to climb up before my arm rips totally off. (He uses his other hand to flip up onto the pipe; it bent under his extreme weight.) Brandon: Double Shit! I got to think fast, this drop looks longer than I thought, and I don't know how I'll function with one arm and two busted up legs. But it's the chance I'll have to take. Wait! I have an idea that might work. (He jumped off the pipe and unhooked one of his hidden missiles and fired it. By holding on to the missile he descends to the ground at a slower pace than he would have. As he neared the ground the missile ran out of fuel so he let it go and it flew into the air and blew up harmlessly in the sky. Brandon hit the ground with a loud thud. He could feel the gears in his legs buckling, but nothing came loose as far as he knew.) Brandon: Now that that's over, its time to find out what happened to Keith. He should be here by now to check up on me. I fear that the worst has happened. [In camp near Hanger] Keith: (Slowly opens eyes and adjusts to the extremely bright light.) W-Where am I? (He realizes that he can't move due to the restraints put on him. He struggles to get out, but a strong electrical shock settles him right back down.) Dr. Eneics: I wouldn't advise that if I were you. Those restrains send an electrical shock to you when you struggle, but I bet you know that already. Keith: Cut the bullshit! What do you want from me, my friend will be coming for me, and you'll be sorry pal? Dr. Eneics: I don't think so; your friend should be smashed up on the pavement by now, judging by the map of the sewer system. And even if he did survive, we have this base heavily guarded, we have your MCU's, and plus we have you. Do you really think your friend will risk his life and yours? I think not. Now I have so much in store for us. I'm going to go through your mind and find out everything you know, and analyze you so we can create our own ultimate soldiers that aren't affected by silly emotions. Keith: When I get out of here, I'll make sure you'll die slowly. Dr. Eneics: Such harsh words for someone whose held down and in my complete control. Maybe it'll be better if I just alter your CPU and make you fight your own comrade. Keith: You can try all you like; you won't break through my brains defense systems. It's as deadly as I am. Dr. Eneics: Enough talk, its time for you to go back to sleep. (He presses a button on the control panel and Keith's body shuts down.) Damn machine doesn't know whom he's dealing with. Ok, now its time to run a body structure scan on him. (He presses a few buttons on the control panel and a metal bar passes over Keith's body several times, then an image of his inner structure appears on the screen.) Dr. Eneics: Amazing, his body structure is the same as a regular human, except in place of bones there's metal. The muscles are nearly the same aside from the small wires that probably change the applied strength of the machine. Who ever made this machine is a genius and deserves major props. I can learn a lot from the design of this machine. Then the Kuro Kage will have an army of super soldiers, and then we'll have no need for those new guys, they think they can run everything because their machines as well, I don't like their attitudes at all. They're just a group of young, cocky punks out for a thrill on the expense of the Kuro Kage. But all of that will change, as long as I get the information I need. [Near the Hanger] (Brandon has made his way to the hanger after making a few stops to do some repairs.) Brandon: (Taps his arm) almost as good s new, I still can't use the weapons on it until I reconnect the circuits. I can still move it, but its hurts so badly. I don't see what the use of us being able to feel pain has to do with our existence. I suppose the original Galen wanted us to feel the pain we inflict on others, and to make us feel more human. (He sneaks around the corner and peeks around. He spots a few guards guarding the main entrance to the hangar.) Brandon: My MCU is somewhere in the back. Only my evil twin could be able to locate it, he must have been tracking us since we got here, but they can't read our minds, they just get glimpses of our thoughts. Now how should I deal with these guards, if I attack them from this angle, they'll surely contact the rest of their soldiers then I'll be in serious trouble. I'm not at one hundred percent yet. My legs are barely holding out and my arm is not in any condition to be handled roughly. But I have a feeling that Keith is here somewhere. Either finding a way to get to his MCU or in the enemies hand, I feel that the latter has happened. (He jumps over the wall and lands quietly on the other side behind the guards. He holds up his hand and a metal bar slides out, it folds into a shape of a boomerang, the boomerang started glowing with immense heat.) Brandon: Let's see how they like this. (He throws the heated blade; it cuts through the air towards the soldiers. Brandon's lock on sensors told him how hard and at what angle to throw it at. The blade sliced cleanly through the soldier's heads like a hot knife through butter. The blade came back to him and reinserted itself into his wrist.) Brandon: Easier than I thought. Now its time to find Keith, I'm sure he's in one of these bunkers. But first I have to dispose of these bodies. (He dragged the bodies to one of the trucks, broke the lock on the trunk, and put the two headless soldiers inside along with their heads.) This may go easier if I use my heat sensor to survey how many people I'm up against. (After a few seconds his eyes changed from black to red and he checked every inch of the seven-meter radius.) It seems that a majority of the soldiers are in the hanger where our MCU's are located. There's a guy around the corner coming my way in fifteen seconds and there are a few other unarmed military personnel around. Finding Keith won't be easy at all. I'll have to check every bunker with a heat signature, or I can lock on to his personal frequency, but that might alert the soldiers with walkie-talkies or microphones. I'll have to find him manually...or mechanically in my case. [In Laboratory Bunker] Dr. Eneics: I've nearly analyzed all of this machine's components. I'll need more time get around to analyzing their MCU's; they'll make a great addition to our already growing power. It's too bad this guy's friend didn't show up, I'd have more data to collect. Now let me try to get into this guys thoughts, I don't care what he says, there is no electronical defense I can't break through. (Starts inserting plugs into Keith head, and inputs commands into the computer.) Hmmm, I should have access to his memory by now; this may be harder than I thought. Let me try a different approach. (Inputs new commands.) There, that should do it. (The computer screen goes blank and the lights shut off.) Oh no, the power went out. That means the electric field is gone; luckily I shut him down. (From behind him, two red lights glare in the darkness. Dr. Eneics suddenly spins around to come face to face with a big surprise.) Keith: That's what you think bastard. Dr. Eneics: But how, I shut down all of your circuits. (He tries to open the door, but it is run by electricity.) Keith: When you tried to tap into my mind I stole the power from this room and transferred it into me, thanks to you, I'm at full power. Now Doctor, its time for you to die. Dr. Eneics: No, I was only doing my job. Keith: Good, I'll have the undertaker put that on your tombstone. (Keith raises his hand and four darts appear between his fingers. He throws the darts and they stick the doctor into the wall by his hands and feet. His brings up two more and throws them into his shoulders. Dr. Eneics is screaming in pain, but there is no blood flowing from his wounds. This puzzles him.) Keith: I guess your wondering why you're not bleeding to death all over the place huh. Well those darts pierce then clot the wound, leaving me time to plan what I'm going to do to you. And I've figured it out. There seems to be a metal plate in the back of your head and I'll use this (He shows Dr. Eneics another dart with a blue lining.) to torment you with. You see, this dart is a magnetic dart and will attract to the closest piece of metal once activated and won't stop until it comes in contact with its target. It's already set to slow attraction, so it may take hours, maybe days before it finishes you off. But in case you may break free of your restraints. I'll have to stop you from getting away. (Keith pulls out one of his short swords and sliced off Dr. Eneics arms and legs in two clean strikes.) Dr. Eneics: Ahhhh! Y-you're a monster, only a heartless piece of shit like you could do such a-a-acts. Keith: Such harsh words for one that is limbless and hanging against the wall. I know what you're trying to do though, you want me to get so mad that I kill you now, but that won't work. I have an enhanced patience drive. You can talk shit up until the time that dart reaches your brain and I can sit here until you die, and then I can feed you to the dogs. Unfortunately, I don't have time to do such a thing; my friend may be out there looking for me as I speak. So adios senor, or goodbye in English, or as they say it here in Japan, sayonara. (Keith smashes the door open to the mini laboratory and walks out into the battle that has just started to commence. But inside the lab, the emergency power comes on. The computer screen comes on; first it is blank except for the blinking cursor, then the screen writes text that say "Structural and data Analysis complete, transferring data to HQ. Dr. Eneics see the message then think * He'll get what he deserves, revenge will be...*. His thought is cut off as the dart pierces his brain then explodes into a thousand smaller darts shredding his brain to pieces.) [In Antarctica] Elijah: This base must have a control room, and then I can either shut down their missiles or use the missiles against them. I just hope this is the right direction. I haven't encountered any opposition since me and Taj split up to search this place. (Just as he made that statement, a guard walked around the corner.) Guard 1: Hey you! You don't belong here! Elijah: Wow genius, what makes you say that. (Elijah tightens his fist, steel knuckles form on his hands and steel plates form on his shoes.) Now it's time for you to bite the dust. Guard: (Raises his microphone to his ear.) We have an intruder, report to section two on the double. Guard on earphone: We can't really help you right now; we're already dealing with another intruder. I'll send someone down there as soon as possible. Elijah: *It sounds like they discovered Taj. I hope he's not in too much trouble. Judging by the looks of this subordinate's weapon I'd say they're all packing some serious heat. * So, ready to die yet? Guard: I'm not ready to die just yet. Not until Commander Kurt's dream to rule the entire universe is acquired. (He unlatches his weapon from the side of his armored suit.) Elijah: It's too bad you won't be around to see his downfall because your time in this realm of existence is over. (He charges forward. The guard fires his weapon and a laser comes out of the barrel at a super high speed, Elijah narrowly dodges the beam which struck the wall behind him and left a slight dent in the metal plating.) Elijah: They're using high velocity bullets now, our armor can't withstand against that stuff for long. I really need to get back to my brother, but the mission must be completed, that is the number one priority. Besides, Taj's speed is higher than mine, so dodging these deadly shots won't even break him out into a sweat. Guard: What's wrong surprised at our new arsenal. We developed these long before you guys even came around, we jus never had enough reason to use them. Now your going to come with me, nice and quietly. Our scientists want to know why you're so good at piloting those MCU's. Elijah: I think not! (Elijah bolts down the hallway towards the guard who is suddenly distraught from the fact that someone would charge a person with major firepower, but it doesn't faze him long as he is able to get another shot in before Elijah grabs him by his neck and slams him into the wall. The guard looks at the wound in Elijah's shoulder and sees the circuitry.) Guard: What are you man, some kind of robot? That wasn't in the report HQ gave us. Elijah: Well then you can blame them for you losing your life. (Elijah throws a barrage of punches into the guy's chest. The guard's breathing slowed down as his rib cage started to cave in on his lungs. Elijah spun and delivered a spinning back kick to the guard and he came out of his hole in the wall and landed five feet away from Elijah. Miraculously the guard started to stand up. This surprised and amused Elijah.) At least he has a good fighting spirit. No one usually survives from my assault, too bad he must die. I can't let him inform the others of our real selves. We must keep letting on that we're just renegade humans out for the sake of a wild adventure. Even though it seems that only the highest officials and our evil twins know that were really Mechanical creations of one of the most brilliant mind of all time. Guard: (Whispers) I must live; I must fight for the sake of my wife. But if I shall die, I'll take this abomination with me. (He pulls out a small heated pocketknife and charges it up. Elijah: Tell me if you're finished talking to yourself, because I have somewhere I need to get to, and I don't have much time to play around with you. Guard: You think this is a game?! *Trinity, give me strength to kill this monster, but if I shall fail, don't forget that I will always love you. * (Across the world in South Carolina a woman named Trinity faintly hears the sound of her husbands voice and instantly feels something bad has or will happen to him. She'll know the terrible news when the Kuro Kage physician calls her house the next day.) Elijah: A game? No my friend, this is life. Take chances, make mistakes, and die a miserable death. Guard: My sentiments exactly! (He suddenly lunges at Elijah. Elijah being too surprised by the sudden attack from a man who was thought to be taking his last breathe was stabbed straight into the chest near his Vitality Power Core (V.P.C.). Before the knife could go any deeper and cause major and unrepairable damage Elijah yanked it out angrily and held his hand to his chest. He staggered backwards and analyzed the damage. The knife broke past his armor plating and into his V.P.C. chamber, a couple more seconds and he would have been killed. By now the guard was getting to his feet.) Elijah: Don't you dare think for one second that you're going to get away with that shit! (He stomped to the guard and slammed him up against the walls numerous times and unleashed ferocious combos on him. The guard was practically bleeding from everywhere, but he was still standing on his feet and tried to fight back.) What is wrong with you, why won't you die? Your attack might have done more damage to me then I though. It's time to end this bitch. (Elijah jumps to the wall beside him in the closed up hallway and delivers a kick which breaks the guard's spinal cord and has him bending over backward, then Elijah jumps off the next wall, performs a front flip and lands his heel in the back of the guards head after he fell to the ground. The guards face smashes into the ground and his features leave no mark of which to recognize him. All that remains is a bloody bump to be identified as a head, a battered and bruised bleeding body with a nametag, and a picture of a beautiful, curvy woman in black lingerie in his pocket that will later be identified as his wife.) Elijah: Now, I can get on with this mission. (Sparks suddenly fly out around the stab wound.) I got to get this checked when we get back home. The door up ahead says control room. This fool had been delaying me from my mission. It seems he was the only defense left, because surely someone would have heard all this commotion out hear and came to investigate. Unless they're smart enough to know that whatever it was, it was going to come for them next. (Elijah busts open the door and finds it vacant, which is strange since a control room is always occupied, even on lunch break.) Elijah: Maybe they left when they heard gunshots and screams, if I were human I would have ran too. Guess they're smarter than I give them credit for. Now where is the missile launch control panel? (He walks around a bit until he locates the appropriate computer panel; he inserts his code breaker into the panel and begins to crake the code put in by the technicians. Soon the screen lights up green signaling that the files can now be accessed.) Elijah: Now, what should I do with my new missiles? I know, I can clear the way to Africa. Since we couldn't get to it before because of the heavily guarded shoreline. I scanned the entire area, there are no other civilians around, but if there are, their lives will just have to be sacrificed for the better cause. I'll just send the smallest one there; I don't want to destroy all of Africa. The rest I'll just set to detonate down here. I'll set the timer to 60:00:00. That should give us enough time to get out of here. Let me synchronize my watch with the time and start it. (He sets the detonator and his watch to one hour and starts both timers.) Now I have to get out of here. (A red light flashes on his watch.) Oh shit, that's the distress signal, Taj is in trouble. (He runs out of the control room and spots the guard that confronted him before. He kicks the body against the wall and continues on.) That's for getting in my way, I could have been in and out of there fast enough to help my brother if it weren't for you. Now I have to save Taj before I lose him. He's the only brother I got. And there isn't any backup memory to replace any of us yet; we didn't think we'd need it. (Elijah finally gets to where Taj's distress signal came from. The floor was littered with guards and weapons, but there was one distinct trails of red liquid that differed from the others. It was the blood that only mechanical androids such as him had. It led all the way down the hall and there was Taj hunched up against a wall showing no life signs. Elijah: I'm too late. He's dead. If only I'd been here sooner. Why do I play around when others lives are at stake. (He punches the wall repeatedly as he says this leaves huge dents in the reinforced steel. A red glow started to surround him and his eyes changed a dark shade of red. Elijah heard voices from down the hall and around the corner.) Guards: What was that? Guard 2: I don't know lets go see. Guard 3: It could be the intruders, keep up your guard. Elijah:(In a low tone) Yes, keep up your guard so I can smash your defenses and kill you all. Beware bastards because I'm coming for you. You killed my brother and there's going to be hell to pay. (The red glow intensifies and Elijah battle armor changes into a red version of itself. Elijah doesn't notice the change and continues to walk toward the voices while tears run down his distraught face. He doesn't even notice the red handled sword engulfed in fire that forms in his hand, but he's already contemplating on how to kill the guards with it. END OF MISSION 5
