Mission 19

Previously:
	Galen gets a rude awakening when he finds that his classes have changed for the 
day. Brandon and Keith try talking their way through their boring english class until they 
meet up with a couple of unforgotten girls that they've been longing to meet again. Erika 
and Victoria suggest that they leave to "celebrate" the reunion. Galen can't find his two 
class cutting friends and Jennifer invites him and Sakura to meet her at a local arcade. 
After school Sakura talks Galen into having a little fun to pass the time before they're to 
meet Jennifer. They arrive late because of it, but Jennifer didn't seem to be mad. That is 
until they actually get inside the laser tag arena and she totally creams them. Galen 
decides to call Brandon and Keith to find out what the deal was. After the short 
conversation Sakura shows up in Galen's bedroom, to continue the day's earlier event. 
And because of Galen's inability to say no to a girl, he and Sakura are once again late for 
school. They arrive in time to get to lunch, but Galen and Tora get into a fight with some 
unfortunate losers and has to stay after school. By the time He and Tora get out it is late 
and everyone is already at home. Raion then makes his appearance after being absent 
from so many chapters and confronts them. Galen and Tora run away until they are 
cornered in an abandoned area. Just when all seems lost, when the smoke clears from the 
barrage of bullets Tora and Galen have transformed into their hyper modes and have set 
their sights on Raion, who was completely baffled and scared.

Raion: I don't know what happened. But I'll squash you like bugs. (He slammed his 
sword on the spot Galen and Tora were on. They jumped out of the way, jumped on top 
of the massive piece of steel and stopped running up to the arm.)

Galen: You're too slow to catch us. Why couldn't you just change like the others did?

Tora: That way I wouldn't be forced to kill a friend. Plus you're siding with the Kuro 
Kage against us. This betrayal shall not go unanswered. (They jump up toward the 
cockpit at high speed and sliced at it. They could have reached all the way in, but Raion 
knocked them off with his other hand. They flipped in mid-air and landed gracefully onto 
their feet.)

Galen: A feeble attempt on our lives, but not half of what we'll do to you. Divine...

Tora: Ultimate...

Galen and Tora: Cutting Flash! (A straight bright light flew from their hands and 
impacted with Raion's MCU. It flashed white and Raion's MCU started falling to the 
ground in huge chunks. They approached the part, which used to be the cockpit and they 
ripped it open.)

Tora: He's not here. How could he disappear?

(One of the computer screens popped up and displayed Raion.) Raion: You fools! Do you 
really think that I'd die that easily? I knew that you might be planning something so I 
switched my MCU to remote control. By the time you start looking for me, I'll be gone. 
That is, if you survive. (He laughs and then the screen goes blank.)

Galen: What's he mean by survive? ... Shit we have to get out of here!

Tora: What! What's wrong? (Suddenly that same screen showed numbers and they were 
counting down fast. Galen and Tora ran from that MCU like the police were chasing 
them, but it wasn't fast enough. It exploded and sent them flying.)

[A few blocks away]

(Raion closes the wrist communicator and smiles.)

Raion: That should be the end of them. I have some research to do now. It seems that I 
can become stronger than I already am. The power Galen and Tora demonstrated is more 
than I ever thought possible. (He throws his hood over his head and walks down the alley 
to his car.)

[Near the abandoned and now destroyed area]

(All of the people in range of Galen's distress signal were heading toward the location 
from which it was sent. They stopped when they heard and saw an explosion.)

Elijah: What was that explosion!?

Mark: Could something have happened to them?

Sakura: No! Galen. (She ran ahead of the group with Jennifer not too far behind. Then the 
others trailed behind them. They saw that Sakura and Jennifer had found them lying in a 
park with small craters around their bodies.)

Hiru: Are they alive?

Jennifer: Their alive, but oddly enough not injured.

Brandon: What's up with that armor their wearing, where'd they get it?
Elijah and Kuma: So my theory was right!

Taj: You mean your theory about us having an alter form. So when they wake up, they 
won't remember what happened at all.

Elijah: Precisely. The same thing happened to us in Antarctica when we were in danger. 
Kuma and I had to do hours of research on how it was possible.

Kuma: We found out that six jewels were found in an ancient tomb. The founder was 
none other than Doctor Galen. He studied the jewels and found that they had an infinite 
source of power that only needed recharged every so often.

Elijah: These were the same jewels that he used in Tora and you other guys. He changed 
the properties of those jewels to create the ones in us, which is what Kuma and I did to 
make Jason and his team's V.P.C. units.

Kuma: It turns out that this was a trump card given to us in case we got really mad or 
were in a life death situation, and each V.P.C. gives the owner a different ability.

Elijah: From what I saw on my video playback of the Antarctica incident, I had the 
ability to generate fire.

Taj: Yea, and I had ice.

Terrell: Can we talk about this later? We have to get these two out of here before the 
authorities arrive to question us.

(Elijah and Kuma grab Galen and Tora, they wanted to run some test on them to see 
exactly what happened. (A minute later the police and fire trucks arrived to put out the 
fire and gather some suspects.)

[At Elijah's House]

Galen: (Slowly opening his eyes and is met with an intensely bright light.) Where am I. I 
feel like a crash landed alien in area 51.

Sakura: Your finally awake.

Galen: Am I in heaven? Last thing I remember is being attacked by Raion, so I must be 
dead. That would explain this angel before me.

Sakura: You're so sweet. But no, you're not dead. This is Elijah's house.

Elijah: Welcome back to the land of the living. I was running some test on you two to see 
what happened.
Tora: (Just waking up.) What did happen? We should be pieces of scrap on that ground 
out there.

Taj: Your V.P.C. unit saved you. Here watch this video feedback of both of your minds.

Galen: I remember this part, but uh, what hit Raion's MCU. Looks like two balls of light 
smashed into it. 

Tora: I don't recall running on a sword. You sure this is our memories.

Jennifer: Tea, that's you all right. (She walks upstairs while Elijah and Kuma explain 
them what happened. Mark and Neko are busy punishing whatever food Elijah and Taj 
have.)

Mark: So how's he doing?

Jennifer: Just fine. They just don't remember what happened, but according to Elijah that 
was expected. It seems that our V.P.C. unit takes over our subconscious mind and gives 
us extraordinary abilities.

Mark: Cool, but it seems that the results but a lot of strain our bodies. So it shouldn't be a 
power to be taken lightly.

Neko: I don't think we really have a say in when it can be used anyway judging from 
what Kuma said.

Mark: I hope that there comes a time where I'll unleash my fury on unsuspecting Kuro 
Kage fiends. (Doorbell rung and Jennifer went to answer it. Jennifer saw two girls that 
she didn't recognize.)

Jennifer: May I help you?

Victoria: Uh yea, my name is Victoria, is Brandon and Keith here?

Jennifer: Yea, over there. (She pointed at Keith and Brandon who were playing another 
game in which Keith was winning.)

Erika: Thank you. I'm Erika.

Jennifer: Nice to meet you, I'm Jennifer. Try not to make yourself too much at home; this 
isn't my house.

Victoria: Ok, I guess. (They walk over and tapped them on the shoulder.)

Erika: Hey Brandon. It's me. (She waved her hand in front of his face.) Damn they're out 
of it.

Victoria: Boys and their games. Nothing breaks their concentration.
Erika: I got an idea. (She leaned over and kissed Brandon on his lips. He dropped the 
controller and wrapped his arms around her waist.)

Victoria: Well that's one way you could do it. I have more harsh way of going about it. 
(She turned off the power on the Game Box Station 2.)

Keith: Hey, what's the big idea? (He stopped being angry when he was that Victoria was 
leaning over in front of him with her loose t-shirt.) Hey, didn't hear you come in.

Victoria: I figured that much. It took us a while to find this place. Your friend's must like 
their privacy to be in a secluded area like this.

Erika: Ohhh I love this game. Can we play?

Brandon: Sure, what is it?

Erika: "Pokemon vs. Digimon!"

Keith: Of all the games here, she had to pick that one.

Victoria: Come on it'll be fun. We'll gladly make up for any boredom you experience. 
(Erika nods her head in agreement.)

Brandon: Then lets get this game started. (The doorbell rings again. This time Elijah, who 
had just came upstairs answered it. Standing there were two girls that none of them had 
ever seen.)

Elijah: Oh, hi! You're here early. Hey Taj its time to go.

(Taj walks upstairs followed by Galen and Tora.)

Taj: Oh, our dates are here.

Galen: You two have dates? How come you never told me about this?

Elijah: Because you make a big deal out of everything. This is Jessica and Kelly, their 
sisters.

Jessica and Kelly: Hi! (Kuma and Hiru responded by waving and smiling goofily.)

Elijah: You guys lock up when you leave. (They started to leave the house.)

Jessica: I didn't know you two had twins.

Taj: Yea, that's an interesting story. Maybe we'll tell you later if your good.

Kelly: Us good. You don't know us very well, do you? (She smiled at him and the door 
was closed.)

Kuma: That ain't fair. I'm better looking than he is, but I can't even get a girl to look my 
way.

Hiru: Some guys just get all the luck. (They do a synchronized deep sigh.

[Next Day at School]

Galen: So Elijah, how'd your night go? I couldn't get in touch with you all night.

Elijah: It's my business, so stay out of it.

Tora: You hit that didn't you?

Elijah: (Embarrassed) I said drop it! (He walks away from the group. They turn to 
question Taj, but he was gone as well.)

Sakura: He must have known he was next.

Mark: Why do you all keep messing with people?

Tora: Because its fun.

Terrell: So Tora, who was that girl I saw you with while you were charming her into your 
house.

Tora: What were you doing in my neighborhood?

Shalonda: Not so funny when you're the one in the spotlight.

(They all start laughing while Tora sulks. All of a sudden the fire alarm sounds.)

Terra: I wonder what jackass pulled the alarm this time. (They all exit the school door 
before they could hear the announcement.)

Brandon: It seems that they announced that it wasn't a scheduled fire drill.

Keith: (Keith replied sarcastically.) They have such impeccable timing. (They turn to go 
back inside the building but here a loud thud from behind them. They turn around 
slowly.)

Neko: Raion? (Raion was standing before them, but he was different. He was in his hyper 
mode with his deadly claws.) 

Raion: Now its time for the real fun to begin.
