Mission 18

Previously:
	The whole group gets together and Elijah and Kuma explain the reason for 
Jason's team's existence. They all decided to have a fight to see once and for all who was 
the greatest. Jennifer ends up beating Galen and they go back to Galen's house to 
celebrate. After a small conversation Galen goes to his room to do some homework and 
Jennifer takes out some frustration on Hiru.

[Next Day at school]

Galen: Shit! You mean to tell me that this place has that A day B day shit like it was in 
middle school. So I have to find my schedule and see where to go to in the next, let's 
see... within the next minute.

Jennifer: It ain't that serious. Calm down. Maybe you should have paid more attention to 
your schedule and the morning announcements and you wouldn't be in this situation.

Galen: Where's that damn thing. Double shit! (He searches frantically in his backpack for 
his misplaced schedule just as the late bell rings.) Ohh man.

[English Class - Period one]

Brandon: This class is so fucking boring!

Keith: Your telling me. This Macbeth play is so ancient that it belongs in a museum. I 
can't understand this old english bull anyway.

Teacher: Umm, Wade and Anderson, you're hindering the learning process. Please pay 
more attention to your book and less time talking. (Brandon and Keith slump down in 
their seats. Then there was a knock on the door. The teacher gets up opens the door. In 
walks two new students that no one has seen before. Brandon and Keith would have 
recognized them right away had they been paying attention.) Excuse me class but we 
have two new students that'll be joining our learning environment. You can sit where 
ever you like. (As they walked up the aisle the teacher couldn't help but stare at the two 
girls asses.) *Damn, if only I were thirty years younger.*

Brandon: Great, two more added to this already crowded classroom. Soon half of us will 
be learning from the hallway.

Keith: What's been eating you anyway?

Brandon: I just wish that we didn't have to leave Japan.

Keith: Your talking about Erika and Victoria aren't you.

???: Its good to know that your thinking about us.

Brandon: Huh? (Brandon and Keith turn around and are surprised to see Victoria and 
Erika smiling at them.)

Victoria: We finally found you. It took us forever to find your names in the directory. 
Seeing as this country is so big.

Brandon: You girls came all this way to find us? I'm flattered.

Erika: We really thought that we needed to fully thank you for what you've done for us.

Keith: You already saved our lives. Wasn't that enough? (He was jabbed in the side by 
Brandon's elbow.)

Erika: No, that wasn't enough. There's isn't enough thanks that we can give you. But 
there is one thing we can do.

Keith: (Curiously) And what would that be. (Victoria slid up beside him and whispered in 
his ear. For a second he just stared blankly.) Hey Brandon, you think we can skip the rest 
of the day?

Brandon: What for, I got a test in my next class. (Keith whispered to him what Victoria 
told him.) Uhh...yea, test or no test, we are so out of here.

Teacher: Excuse me. Is there something you for would wish to share with the rest of the 
class? (The room grew silent as to wait for a response.)

Erika: No, no. We were just making up for lost time. That's all.

Teacher: Well, now is neither the right time, nor the right place for that.

Keith: (Smiling) You got that right.

[After Second Period]

Galen: Hey Elijah. Have you seen Brandon?

Elijah: Not since we got here. It's not like him to skip classes.

Taj: I haven't seen Keith either. Maybe they left.

Elijah: I don't think that they would do that without notifying us first. The Kuro Kage 
knows what they look like. It'd be too dangerous for them to be alone.
Galen: Lets worry about them later, I'm sure there fine. I got a quiz that I have to cram 
for that I about to take in fifteen minutes. (They leave for their respective classes. Galen 
goes to his locker to get his physics book. Which to him was like a mini dictionary. 
Jennifer approached him)

Jennifer: I was wondering if you and Sakura would like to hang out with me at the 
arcade.

Galen: But, her and I had "other" plans.

Jennifer: Don't worry, I insisted that you guys come and she "gladly" accepted.

Galen: Well, ok I guess. I'll be there at four.

Jennifer: Good, and you better not stand me up either, or I will hunt you down.

Galen: Hadn't crossed my mind. (She walked off satisfied that she broke Sakura and 
Galen's late night plan of reacquaintance with what is taught in health class which is 
what made Jennifer come up with the idea.)

Jennifer: *Why am I meddling in their business anyway. Maybe it's because of the way 
they were staring at each other in Health class. But it's fun messing with them.*

[After school]

Galen: See you guys tomorrow. (He waves to Jason, Terra, Shalonda, and Mikel, who 
lived in the opposite direction to where Galen, Mark, Elijah, Terrell, Taj, Jennifer, and 
Sakura lived. Tora and the others had after school detention for some fight they started 
with some guys at lunch. It started when some guy who was one of the most popular guys 
in the school starting flirting with Jennifer and Hiru got offensive. Then the guy's friends 
started swinging and Tora, Kuma, and Neko got into it. It was hell for those unlucky 
fools. And because the school rules for fighting were changed, they only got after school 
detention for the rest of the week.) They should be lucky that Tora and them  didn't kill 
them. Guess they have self-control after all.

Elijah: It was kind of funny seeing Hiru standing up for you Jennifer. Maybe you should 
pay him more attention.

Jennifer: I thought that I explained that he was too young for me. I'm surprised that the 
school board allowed him in the school. He's like four to five years younger than me. But 
that was kind of heroic. Even though I could have taken care of that jerk myself, I 
wouldn't have wanted to embarrass him.

Mark: Yea, I could see the people talking now. "Popular boy beat by super girl." I'd hate 
to be in his shoes if he decides that he wants a rematch after that bout.

Jennifer: So Galen, don't forget. I'll see you guys there at four right?

Sakura: Uhh, yea. We'll be there.

Jennifer: Good! (She wandered off away from the group to head towards her house.)

Taj: Galen, why do you allow her to order you around. Its not like you're together 
anymore.

Galen: I'm too scared to defy her. That's why. Would you want to deny her something as 
simple as a few hours of hanging out.

Taj: I guess not.

Terrell: Where's Keith? He wasn't in our Algebra 2/ Trig class.

Galen: Hell if I know. Him and Brandon have been absent all day. What can be more 
important to them that they would skip the entire school day anyway?

Terrell: The only thing that I can think of that could be a reason is that they meet some 
girls.

Taj: Like they could possibly find somebody like that in one day. Impossible. I've been 
searching forever to find a girlfriend.

Elijah: Don't worry lil bro. Your young, you've got time.

(They soon reached the intersection where they separated to go to their residences.)

Sakura: Come on Galen. Now's our chance. Let's continue with our original plan.

Galen: But we're to meet Jennifer in an hour.

Sakura: So, that's plenty of time, we'll be done with time to spare.

Galen: That doesn't sound too good on my behalf.

Sakura: You know that I didn't mean it that way. You kept me up all night our first time. 
Though you were a bit new to it, and so was I, it was something I want to do again. So 
let's go. (She grabs his wrist and runs down the street towards his house.)

[An Hour Later]

Jennifer: Ok, its four o'clock. Where are they. This new laser tag thing ain't so fun by 
myself. I'll give them fifteen more minutes.

[Fifteen minutes later]

Jennifer: That's it. I had a feeling that they weren't going to come. I guess my threats 
weren't enough. Now its time to show them that actions can and will speak louder than 
words.

(Galen and Sakura run up to the front door of the arcade.)

Galen: Sorry were late.

Jennifer: So you decided to come after all. What took you so long?

Sakura: Well you see what happened was. There was this Uhh...tell her Galen.

Galen: Yea, a traffic jam, we got caught in it on our way up here.

Jennifer: Galen, after all this time. Do you really think; that you can lie to me. I can see it 
in your eyes. Your clothes are all ruffled up and your hair is still wet from the shower you 
must have had. It's obvious what happened. Just come on. This new game closes in thirty 
minutes.

Sakura: (Whispers to Galen) She took it better than I thought.

Galen: Yea, it's like she's two different people. Or maybe she's just over the fact that 
were together now and that we can do whatever we want without her consent.

[Inside the laser tag arena]

Announcer: And we have a winner! Jennifer Grow has defeated both of her opponents in 
record time.

Galen: No fair! I was pistol whipped from behind.

Announcer: The rules say that any contact can be made, as long as it's with the 
equipment given.

Sakura: Well that sucks. She shot me from behind like twenty times before I knew what 
was going on. And you said she wasn't mad.

Jennifer: Lets go you losers. The next group is waiting for their turn. Then we can go 
again after them.

Galen: No way! You turn into a killing machine when you're mad.
Jennifer: You're such a quitter. How about you Sakura. Want to go one on one with me?

Sakura: No, I got to go get some sleep, which is only reason I lost. I kind of tired myself 
out before we got here.

Jennifer: I don't need to know that. (They walked out of the arena and returned the 
equipment to the manager and left.)

[At Galen's House]

Galen: Let me call Brandon and Keith. There's got to be a logical explanation to why 
they weren't in school. (He dialed Brandon's number.)

Brandon: (Groggily answers the phone) Hello. Who this?

Galen: Its me Galen. Where the hell you've been.

Brandon: I can't talk right now. I'll explain tomorrow. And don't bother calling Keith 
either. He's probably busy at the moment.

Erika: Who's that Brandon?

Brandon: A friend of mine. Go back to sleep.

Galen: Who are you talking to? Was that a girl I heard? (The answer he receives is the 
dial tone when Brandon hung up.) So Terrell was right. They met up with some girls for 
an at home "study" session. It's about time that I get some sleep too.

Sakura: Sleeping is going to be the last thing you'll be doing. (She was standing in the 
doorway wearing nothing but a nightgown that was nearly see through.)

Galen: As much as I enjoy your presence. I'm a bit tired from our earlier encounter, 
maybe in the morning. I can afford to miss Web page design.

Sakura: (She walks over and grabs his shirt.) But I want you now!

Galen: *Damn, she's just easily agitated as Jennifer. Why do I allow women to walk all 
over me. I know I'm not enjoying being pushed around by them am I?* Ok Sakura. You 
can have your way with me this time, but I have a request of my own.

Sakura: (She asked, though she already knew the question.) What'll that be?

Galen: You know what I want.

Sakura: Ohhh. That...sure why not. It'll be nice to return the favor for once anyway. (She 
smiled seductively.)
[The next day]

(The phone rings and Galen picks it up careful as to not wake Sakura who was sleeping 
peacefully.)

Galen: Yea, what's up?

Elijah: You realize what time it is you idiot! (Galen looks over at the clock. It read 
10:30.)

Galen: Fuck!

Elijah: And it seems you've been doing too much of that. Get Sakura and get here quick. 
The teachers talking about suspending you.

Galen: Double Fuck! (He hangs up the phone.) Hey, Sakura baby, get up. Were late for 
school. And I don't mean normal late. I mean real late.

Sakura: Just thirty more minutes.

Galen: That's what you said last night. And now look what happened.

(Runs into the bathroom to shower and Sakura gets up to stretch.)

Sakura: It looks like I have to wear your clothes again.

Galen: (In the shower) I don't care.

Sakura: You mind if I join you. You know how long I'll take if I go last.

Galen: Sure whatever. Just don't try anything funny.

Sakura: Ok. *Please, like I'm not going to try anything, he's got another thing coming if 
he believes that.*

[End of second period]

Jennifer: It's about time you two got here. If you keep this up I'm going to have to 
handcuff myself to you.

Sakura: So you want to join us?

Jennifer: Hell no! It's hard to believe that you're supposed to be some ort of 
representative of myself. Your nothing like me, except for our resemblance.

Sakura: I was just kidding. You'd probably just try to hog Galen all to yourself anyway.

Jennifer: Don't worry, you can have him.

Galen: *Does she really feel that way about me. Does she not want anything else to do 
with me?* Lets get going. Since we arrived at lunchtime we don't need to go through the 
hassle of getting admission slips. And I'm starved. My energy is totally spent.

Elijah: One could only guess why. (He gave Galen the traditional handshake that they 
learned when they first came to Parkdale.) Better hurry before they close the lunch lines.

Galen: That right. Thanks for reminding me. (He runs off to the Multipurpose room.)

Sakura: That boy has a one track mind sometimes. The only time he isn't thinking about 
food, is when he's with me, or engaged in an intense battle. But either way, his attention 
will waver back to his stomach.

Elijah: One could only wonder how he stays so skinny. He should be too fat to fit in his 
MCU.

[After school]

(There was another fight at lunch, which involved Galen and Tora against some guys 
who thought that knocking down their lunch trays was pretty funny. That is until they 
realized that they were messing with two people who see food as a second God. It turns 
out that it was the same bunch of guys that got trashed the day before. So Galen and Tora 
had to stay after school alone because the guys they fought had to go home for recovery.)

Galen: It's about time that they let us out of there.

Tora: I couldn't take anymore. I made at least one hundred paper objects while I was in 
there.

???: You needn't worry about the time in the past. Embrace your present, because you 
have no future.

Tora: Who the hell? (The turn around and come face to face with a familiar MCU.) 
Raion? Is that you?

Raion: Yes you simpleton. I've come to eliminate you. With out you there's no hope for 
the others. I'll teacher you to go against me.

Galen: Is there time to contact the others?

Tora: What can they do against an MCU? And we won't be able to reach our in time 
before Raion's MCU unleashes his assault on us.

Galen: Then our best option is to run.

Tora: Exactly. (They take off in the opposite direction.)

Raion: You think you can out run me.

Galen: We have to go to an abandoned area. We can't let these innocent people get hurt. 
(They change direction and head toward the battle site from the day before.)

Galen: I've sent a distress signal to the others.

Tora: What good will that do.

Galen: Ever heard that there's strength in numbers.

(They reach the empty area and they stop. Raion had been right on their tails.)

Raion: So you've finally decided to fight me. Well here it comes. (He raises his machine 
gun.)

Galen: So what do we do now?

Tora: Isn't it obvious, we die! (Raion unleashes a barrage of bullets on their location 
bringing up a cloud of smoke.)

Raion: Now Commander Kurt will be pleased with my work. (He turns to leave but his 
MCU is hit from behind. He stumbles a bit then turns around.) What the fuck!

Galen: Where do you think your going?

Tora: You think you can kill us off that easy. You're dead wrong. (Tora and Galen were 
holding out their hands still smoking from the attack they fired at Raion's MCU. They 
bother were wearing black and red armor.)

Raion: What's going on? How's they change clothes like that. This must be a trick.

Galen: The only trick is going to be how you're going to get out of this alive. (He 
unsheathes his two katanas.)

Tora: You'll wish you'd had stayed under whichever rock from which you came. (He 
brandishes his jagged long sword, which had many sharp points wherever it was 
separated.) Prepare to die bitch!
