Mission 14

Previously:
	Tora goes to Commander Kurt Liehanu's office to turn in his resignation from the 
Kuro Kage military. Kurt unwillingly lets him goes, but sends members of his army to 
kill him. Cortex shows up in his office next and is fully healed; his next mission is to 
assassinate Aaron Turner III. After the brief meeting Kiyone Liehanu, Kurt's wife goes 
off in search of Brandon for a rematch or something. Else where Tora goes to Galen's 
house to fight him in a one-on-one duel to prove once and for all, who's the best? After a 
few minutes of battle in which Tora was losing anyway, the Kuro Kage attacked them. 
Tora admits to Galen that he really didn't kill his creator and they end their dispute to 
fight and die as brothers. But just before the first blow was dealt, A new group appeared. 
It was the guys and girls Elijah and Kuma resurrected. They fight along side Galen and 
they come out victorious. After a few introductions Jason and his team called the Shadow 
Warriors leave. We then go back to Galen's house where Sakura is planning to sneak into 
Galen's house, but Jennifer catches and confronts her. They prepare to do battle.

[At the Niwatori Base]

Brandon: We're all done here.

Keith: Yea, they put up a great fight. Tougher than I expected.

Brandon: You know that these Japanese people can fight.

(Brandon finishes off the control tower with one quick slice of his beam glaive. Then 
goes to scout the area for more enemies. As he gets to the other side of the base he sees a 
fast approaching object moving into his direction. He prepares to fight, but then he 
notices that he's seen that MCU model before.)

Brandon: So you decided to come back for another thrashing.

Kiyone: I've come to fight you, but this time I shall be the winner. But if you should 
manage to beat me, I'll accept you as the better fighter.

Brandon: But I already am.

Kiyone: Silence. Prepare to lose. (She lunged at him with her claws, like before Brandon 
dodged them but Kiyone threw a kick at him, which sent him twisting through the air. He 
landed his MCU on its feet.)

Brandon: It seems your skill has increased a little.

Kiyone: Yes. I've been training night and day for a chance to battle you again. My 
training shall not be in vain, I shall destroy you.

Brandon: I said your skill has increased a little, but its not enough to beat me. (He jumped 
in the air and came down at Kiyone with his glaive, Kiyone dodged. Brandon stuck out 
the glaive and it extended and smashed Kiyone into a wall. Brandon separated the glaive 
into two and walked over.) So, you've had enough yet.

Kiyone: Your going to kill me aren't you.

Brandon: Maybe, but it seems that your not coming here under command of the Kuro 
Kage. So this is more like a friendly bout. So don't worry.

Kiyone: Thank you for sparing my life again. (She stepped out of her MCU.)

Brandon: *Damn! She looks like she's twenty-one. That Kurt Liehanu sure got it made, 
look at her body.* (He opens his hatch and gets out.)

Kiyone: *He's cute, and he's so young. How could he possess so much ability. I wonder 
what else he's good at?* I have some information for you.

Brandon: What kind of information?

Kiyone: Life saving information.

Brandon: Fine. Let's hear it.

Kiyone: Well. Kurt has sent Cortex to assassinate Aaron Turner leader of the Earth's 
military force. You might want to deliver this information to one of your other 
teammates.

Brandon: Wait! Why are you helping us, you're the wife of Kurt. Normally a person in 
your position wouldn't do this.

Kiyone: Kurt and I aren't really married. It was a fake marriage so that he would inherit 
his father's money. And plus I'm only nineteen, what I be doing getting married.

Brandon: Nineteen? Hmm, I was close enough. So shouldn't you be going back to your 
headquarters. Or as a matter of fact, maybe you can tell me where it is.

Kiyone: I'm sorry but I can't. No one but people in the Kuro Kage knows its location. 
Kurt will suspect a traitor if he finds out someone gave away its secret hiding place. 
Besides they change locations every once in a while. So its never in the same place twice. 
And I don't want to go back to that man, he's abusive and doesn't treat me with any 
respect. Plus he has his way with me every night. Its horrible, let me stay with you.

Brandon: No, its like you said. He'll suspect something if you don't go back. Just bear 
with it for a while. This war should be over soon.

Kiyone: Thanks for nothing. I though you'd understand! (She jumps back inside her 
MCU and flies off. As she goes Keith finds Brandon standing there looking at a fast 
moving object flying away.)

Keith: Hey. Who was that?

Brandon: Just a troubled teen. This war is pointless. So many people are going through 
hard times for no reason. We must go back home.

Keith: Sure man. Were done here anyway.

(They get to the airport in China and purchase personal airplane carriers with fake ID's.)

Keith: Why'd we come all the way to China to get planes.

Brandon: Have you forgotten that were now wanted in Japan, if anyone sees us were 
toast. Excuse me, I have to go do something.

Keith: Ok, hurry back.

(Brandon went to a payphone, hacked into it with his wrist communicator, and called 
Galen on his personal frequency.)

[Back in America]

Galen: Someone's trying to contact me. (He presses the videophone button in his MCU 
and a fuzzy picture of Brandon can be seen.) Hey long time no see, so how have you two 
been doing? Meet any fine girls over there?

Brandon: There's no time for that now. Listen, an informer of the Kuro Kage told me that 
Cortex is attempting to assassinate Aaron Turner III.

Galen: The Earth military leader? Who told you this?

Brandon: At the present time that doesn't matter. What does matter is that you get to that 
meeting they were advertising on T.V. and keep Commander Turner alive.

(In the background a voice can be heard.) ???: Hey you at the phone. What are you 
doing? Police!

Brandon: Shit! Gotta go Galen. We'll see ya when we see ya. (The screen went blank.)

Galen: That reminds me. I have to check in at Elijah and Taj's house. They should be 
back as well. But this is more important. I need to rest because I have to sit through an 
entire boring militant speech and keep this guy alive. I get to save the great grandson of 
one of my old friends, so I should be glad. (He deposits his MCU in the underground 
hangar inside their hidden base then jumped in his car to head home.)

[At Galen's House]

(The battle between Jennifer and Sakura was already well under way. Both were hurt 
pretty bad. Despite the fact that Jennifer is stronger and Sakura is faster, neither has been 
able to gain the upper hand.)

Jennifer: Why won't you just...give up...you know you can't...go on anymore.

Sakura: What you talking about...I'm about to...win.

(They both move forward to continue fighting but they fall flat on their backs from 
exhaustion. That's when Galen drives up and sees them on the ground.)

Galen: What the hell is going on? (He lifts them both up and supports them by putting 
their arms over his shoulders.) Who did this to you? (They both lifted their fingers 
weakly at each other.) Oh brother. Let me get you two inside. We need to talk. (The key 
Sakura was gong to use was already in the hole was Galen retracted some wires to twist 
the key and he went inside. He placed them on the sofa bed he had and went to get some 
water for them.) This needs to end. You two just need...(He sees that they were asleep 
despite their painful injuries. Though they were a bit roughed up, they still remained 
cute.) Maybe in the morning then. (He goes upstairs to his room and closed the door. 
Downstairs Sakura opened one eye then the other. She smiled then as quietly as possible 
stood up. Taking one last look to see if Jennifer was sleeping then prepared to creep 
upstairs, but something had grabbed her ankle. Sakura looked down and saw that Jennifer 
had grabbed her. Then in one swift motion Jennifer swept Sakura off her feet and she hit 
her head on the floor completely unconscious. With her eyes still closed Jennifer was 
smiling.)

[At Tora's House]

Tora: Oh what a day. I expected to come home with a victory. Now I have to spend all 
night repairing that damn arm. Where's Sakura. Galen was acting strange when I said 
those things I made up about them. Were they true. Of course they can't, Galen will 
always be infatuated with Jennifer. (He dialed Kuma and Hiru's number. Hiru picked up.)

Hiru: Hello, this is the Gaiku residence.

Tora: Hey Hiru its me.

Hiru: What's up my nigga. You have your battle with Galen.

Tora: Sure did, but when I was about to win. The Kuro Kage attacked me.

Hiru: It seems that they took our resignation a little too serious than expected. So you two 
beat a whole legion of them.

Tora: Well not alone. We met some new MCU pilots. I've never seen them before. They 
can fight like shit dawg.

Hiru: New pilots you say...*Could Kuma's project be advancing that fast that they can 
control the MCU to perfection.*...Do you know what their names were?

Tora: Yea, there was Jason, Terra, Terrell, Mikel, Mark, and Shalonda. Its odd how their 
names sound so familiar.

Hiru: *Three of those people are the ones that Kuma created, the others may be some of 
Elijah's products. They have minds of their own, they can fight, and they have no idea 
who Galen is. Well it seems the project was a nearly complete success.* Well, is there 
anything else you want to say, I need to go discuss something with Kuma.

Tora: The gig is up. Galen knows the truth.

Hiru: The truth? Oh about our creator, that sucks.

Tora: Don't worry. Things may be cool between us, but he's agreed that they'll fight with 
us anytime, and that is what we wanted right?

Hiru: Yea it is. Now I can get rid of my I-hate-my-biological-self attitude towards Taj. 
He's kind of cool when you get to know him.

Tora: Right! Deliver that message to everyone else. (He hung up)

Hiru: Yo Kuma! The rivalry is over! Tora told Galen everything.

Kuma: (Kuma came rushing up that stairs.) Oh, is that right. Well it was bound to 
happen. It must have took a drastic situation to make him tell Galen.

Hiru: And he also encountered your missing projects. They helped Galen and Tora out in 
battle.

Kuma: Well seeing as how Tora called us, they must have good fighting skills. Good. But 
I did come across a problem when making their V.P.C. units.

Hiru: What kind of problems?

Kuma: I tried cloning my V.P.C. unit to give to them, but the structure of it wouldn't 
allow me. I had to change it's properties.

Hiru: You mean that there can't be two of the same Cores. Weird.

Kuma: Let me examine your Core. (He led Hiru downstairs to the scanner and scanned 
Hiru's vitality power core and it came up on the computer.) This is odd.

Hiru: What?

Kuma: It seems that your core has come under a huge amount of stress.

Hiru: Well I was fighting Galen, that would pretty much sum it up.

Kuma: No it's not that, what do you remember last during your fight, you said you had a 
short memory surge before you saw Jennifer.

Hiru: I remember Galen knocking me into the water. Then he said " Face it Hiru. Your all 
washed up." Then my vision went black then...then...I don't know.

Kuma: Let me scan your mind. (He placed a headset on Hiru's head and Hiru's point of 
view was shown on the computer screen.) Now let me rewind back to this morning. Ok 
here. (He played the visual and the audio. The screen showed Galen's foot then the sky as 
Hiru fell into the water. Kuma was trying to refrain from laughing. He then heard Galen 
say his line then the blue water around Hiru turned black and as he stood up he saw 
Galen's scared expression. Then the screen showed Jennifer, then the water turned back 
to normal.) That was strange. How'd the water turn black like that. It was the same color 
as your V.P.C. Maybe there's a connection. I'm going to replay it, but the only thing 
we'll be able to hear is the power output of your core.)

Hiru: Fine, just hurry up. This thing is making my head hurt. You always got to analyze 
things. I bet the first thing your going to do when you get a girl is to probe her mind to 
see how girls think.

Kuma: So, it'll help guys everywhere. No one knows how they think. Its like impossible 
to tell by the way they talk and act. OK, here we go. (He replayed the memory.) Now 
usually our cores pulse like a normal human's heart with a steady rhythm.

Hiru: What ever you say Bill Nye the science guy.

Kuma: Anyway, listen carefully. (As Hiru was knocked into the water the beat rose 
steadily until it was just one single pulse.)
That's a lot of power your putting out there. It seems that you got so mad that your core 
unleashes some kind of hidden power or something. I'll have to do some research. Now 
that this stupid rivalry is over, I can ask Elijah to help me. They couldn't remember how 
they got outside after that base exploded. The same thing could have happened to them.

Hiru: So your saying that we have hidden potential, meaning we can be stronger than we 
are now. Bitchin'!

Kuma: Where'd you get that phrase from.

Hiru: I don't know. Some show I saw.

Kuma: Your like a sponge. You take in everything you hear.

Hiru: Hey watch this. "It's not unusual to be loved by anyone..." (He starts dancing like 
Carlton of "Fresh Prince of Bell-Air".)

Kuma: (Kuma raised his eyebrow at him.) Your an dumb ass! (He exited the lab and went 
to go play "Mortal Kombat vs. Street fighter".

Hiru: What? What'd I do?

[The next morning at Galen's House.]

Galen: (Wakes up yawning. And then looks at the clock.) Holy shit! The meeting starts in 
two hours. (He then realizes that the clock wasn't set to the same time as the other clock 
in his room. He called time service and realized his alarm clock was two hours fast.) 
That's a relief. I'm glad I put these sound proof wall around my room. If those two were 
arguing I wouldn't even know. (His smile faded as he walked downstairs and saw that his 
entire downstairs area was completely trashed.) WHAT THE FUCK HAPPENED TO 
MY HOUSE!?

(Jennifer and Sakura who were engaged in a grapple hold in which they each tried to 
overpower the other stopped and started at him for a second. They broke away from each 
other and pointed at each other.)

Sakura and Jennifer: She did it, I swear. (Each claim was followed by their cutest smiles 
which they knew would calm Galen down.)

Galen: Ok, this isn't happening to me. This all a bad dream. *Is two girls fighting over 
me bad...I suppose not. But my house.* (He felt as if he was going to cry as he surveyed 
the damage.)

Jennifer: I'm sorry Galen. You can stay over my house until we get this cleaned up.

Sakura: No, my house is much better, I have all the newest games for you to play.

Jennifer: I don't trust him over your house. Who knows what you'll do.

Sakura: You wouldn't do anything if he were over your house anyway. He needs a girl 
that'll make him happy, not someone who rejects his feelings and making him depressed.

Galen: Hold up! Sakura, that was uncalled for. And Jennifer what do you mean you don't 
trust me.

Jennifer: Don't act ignorant. I know what happened between you two. What ever 
happened the undying love that you had for me. Then you go and do something stupid.

Galen: What else was I supposed to do. Just expel her to the street and leave her in my 
condition. I'd rather that not happen. You know how I sympathize for girls feelings.

Jennifer: What about my feelings. You and I can be friends, and I'll still support you in 
the battle. But relationship wise, you and I are totally through. (She stormed out of the 
house.)

Sakura: Well that makes your decision easier, huh. (She started to approach Galen.)

Galen: Don't come near me. Just get out. And don't come back.

Sakura: You can't really mean that.

Galen: You've ruined the last chance I'll get at true happiness. I don't want to have 
anything to do with you. (He punched the wall and left a huge hole in it.)

Sakura: You'll come back to me. I know you will. I resemble Jennifer so much that your 
mind will just accept us as the same person. You have my number, call me when you 
come to your senses. (She left the house as well.)

Galen: Why...Why does life have it in for me? Things would have been better if my 
previous self wasn't so boring to be around, then Jennifer wouldn't have left him in the 
first place. (In the kitchen, the remaining plate left intact fell from the cabinet and broke.) 
This is going to take some time. It'll give me time to think about my next move. The 
meeting will be starting in a couple of hours. I'll need to have a clear head in order to 
save Aaron Turner. (He started to clean up his house with a broken heart and mixed 
feelings of where to go from here.)

[At the Earth's Sphere Council Building]

Aaron: So you say you're here to prevent an attempt on my life.

Galen: That's right.

Aaron: Your part of that organization that's been destroying Kuro Kage bases. Thanks for 
your help.

Galen: Anything to end this war and to get rid of this attempted dictatorship that is to be 
run by Kurt Liehanu. I'll be by your side during the meeting. So don't act suspicious, and 
continue with your speech.

Aaron: Thank you young man. But I don't see what you can do without your MCU.

Galen: Oh believe me. The things I can do will amaze you.

Aaron: My second-in-command officer Earl MacKay Jr. will assist you in any way.

Galen: There'll be no need. When will your next attack on the Kuro Kage forces be?

Aaron: We really have no idea. Plus President Mark Collier Jr. needs to give us the go 
ahead to engage in any battles that may involve the lives of the innocent.

Galen: That's the difference between you and Kurt. You put the people's safety above all 
us. Hey the meetings started, we should get going.

Aaron: Does that army suit fit you good enough?

Galen: Galen looked down at the black and red uniform of the Earth military force.) Yep, 
fits like I want it. Not too small that you can see the outline of my body and not to big so 
that it can be a blanket.

Aaron: Ok then. Let's go. (We walked out to the podium. He started giving his troops a 
speech about battle plans and battle etiquette.)

[Up on the steel beams above the crowd]

Cortex: This ought to be an easy job. He's open. There's nothing that can make this 
mission go wrong. (He assembled his sniper rifle and attached the scope.) Who is that 
boy beside him. They're that desperate for fighters that they draft children, how crude. 
Say goodbye Aaron Turner the third.
Galen: (Galen's eyes were scouting the entire area as far as his eyes could see. So far 
everything was going well. He then heard a gun shot. The world moved in slow motion. 
The bullet floated through the air cutting through it like a knife into hot butter. The 
congregation of soldiers drew their guns and looked around. Aaron starting to move, but 
not fast enough to get of the bullet's path. Galen reached out his hand and caught the 
bullet and looked up into the direction it came from.) Up there!

Cortex: H-h-h-he caught that bullet. What speed he must have. That bullet should have 
pierced his hand, unless. Wait I know that voice. It's the same one from the leader of the 
M-ninja's. I don't believe it, we're getting our ass beat by children, mere children. But of 
course they're no regular group of brats, their machines. (Bullets started flying in 
Cortex's direction. One caught him on the shoulder before he could take cover behind the 
beam. As he looked over his shoulder he could see that boy was jumping across the 
beams and making his way to him.) SHIT! (He jumped out of a nearby window.)

Galen: What is he, crazy! (Galen looked out of the window and saw Cortex hanging of a 
helicopter leg.)

Cortex: So you're the leader. I kind of figured you would be a bit older, but nonetheless 
you will lose this war. We'll meet again. (He signaled the pilot to move out, and the Kuro 
Kage helicopter flew off. Galen jumped back down to the ground.)

Aaron: Did you get him?

Galen: No. He better be glad I didn't have my gun on me or it'd been curtains for him.

Aaron: Thank you. You saved my life. Anything you need, just ask for it, and it yours.

Galen: I don't accept things for doing my job, which is to protect the innocent and delete 
all wrongdoers. (Galen exited the building to go home, he had a few matters to sort in his 
head.)
[At Jennifer's House]

Jennifer: Maybe I was a little too harsh with Galen. But I had to be the jerk had it 
coming. And still, he'll never be happy if he keeps pursuing me. Maybe he is better of 
with Sakura. Unsettling as it sounds, she the next best choice. She's me but just more 
"equipped." I just can't be with him right now. I need time to myself, a lot of time. He 
probably doesn't even want me anymore now. Even if I begged him, there will still be 
that wall around his heart that I helped build to keep himself from being hurt again. A 
part of me loves him, and another part wants to keep him distant. Which part should I 
listen to.

END OF MISSION 14
