Misconceptions--> Will a silver tipped or wooden stake through the heart kill a Vampire? Yes...Then again name me something which would survive a large pointed implement being stuffed through its heart. Of course that'll kill them, it'll kill anything. Can Vampires turn into bats? Why people think that's true I really don't get it. Does garlic effect Vampires? Unless they have a real distaste for it, why would a vegetable effect anyone? Does sunlight turn them into ashes? Oh yes we see it everyday don't we? All these Goths walking around one minute, then the next, pile of ashes...No wait, actually that doesn't happen. Although it is true that powers are significantly dwindled during the day, and some have a profound distaste for the light, so wear dark glasses rather than look at the putrid blinding light of the world. Can Vampires fly? No, once one has fed a huge adrenaline rush follows, giving faster reflexes, moments of enhanced abilities, which could of course mean incredibly high jumps. Time does actually slow so a Vampire does have greater vision and greatly improved reaction times. These are not as potent with normal adrenaline rushes, but is proved that these effects can result from with any adrenaline rush. |
