TEAM RULES |
FPS LIMITS |
.: Fortunately for you our team does not put a maximum speed allowance for your gun. However, if your gun is shooting 400fps and above, you may not engage an opponent in close quaters(15' and under). Any player showing a disregard for this rule will be promptly pulled from the game and will be dealt with according to the punishment table. |
PROTECTION |
.: For your safety, you MUST have eye protection on at all times during a game (even if you are killed). An important term to know is "Eyes On," meaning: Put your eye protection on. If you get shot in the eye, it is your own fault for not being precautious. Full face masks are the best way to go because you protect your eyes and your face, plus there are fewer chances of getting a riccochet in the eye. A full mask protects your mouth and teeth (teeth can chip very easily).
.: It is also suggested to wear heavy clothes (BDUs), gloves, head protection, and tactical vests. Your welts wont be as bad and it is less likely that the BB will break your skin. |
ENGAGEMENT RULES |
.: As stated in the FPS limit rules, if your gun is shooting 400fps and above, you may not engage an opponent within 15' and under. As a courtesy to other players, if you are likely to engage within 6'-0', both players should call "PARLEY" to save from confusion, arguments, and unnecessary injury (Parley rules explained below).
.: A "KILL" is obtained by shooting another player in the torso, head, upper arms, or legs above the kneecap (highlighted in yellow). Once you are killed, yell "KILL," "HIT," or "DEAD," to signify that you are out of the game. Walk back to the preparation area with your gun pointed upwards, above your shoulder. If you have a red rag, you should place it on your head as another sign of your death. You may not talk to anyone after you die
.: A "wounding shot" renders a player incapacitated (no shooting, or moving) for 20 seconds. As soon as you are wounded count from 1 to 20 in a very loud voice(there is no need to yell "wound"). You are revived as soon as a team member tags you or when you count to the number 20, which-ever come first. If you are shot on a killing zone, or are knifed before you get to 20, you have been killed and must leave the field in the manner described above. Any shot on a "friendly" unit counts as a wound to that player, regardless of location of impact. |

.: "PARLEY" When engaged in CQB and the opposing forces come within 6' of each other or two players on opposite teams become aware of each other at very close ranges, a "PARLEY" must be called. When a parley is in effect, the players involved disengage from combat and spawn behind the closest member of their team. If you are the last person on your team, you may find a "safe" place to spawn.
.: Do not shoot at anyone not playing or anyone that is dead. |

MISC RULES |
.: A Grenade will kill anyone within a 10' radius from where they land and stop (5' on either side of the grenade). In order for a grenade to function, you must yell "GRENADE!" then throw your grenade. If you are within the 10' radius, leave the field as described above. Any item to be used as a grenade must be cleared before the game begins.
.: If any type of law enforcer arrives on the field, immediately put your weapon down and remove the magazine. Hold your gun by the barrel in your right hand, and your removed magazine in the left. Yell "officer(s) on grounds" so that the other players know to do the same with their weapons. Some officers will know what airsoft is, others will not... be careful of your actions - such as inadvertently pointing the end of the rifle at the officer(s). The "~ ~ =" whistle command will also be used if an officer arrives on the field. |
WHISTLE COMMANDS |
.: In order to communicate effectively over large groups and large spaces, DSAT has put together a series of whistle commands to assist in the smoothness of gameplay.
= signifies a long whistle blast ~ signifies a short whistle blast
.: = begin/resume game .: ~ ~ stop game (may be restarted with =) .: ~ ~ = cease game immediately and return to rally-point (game will not be restarted)
.: Any team member may use a whistle of their own as long as it is used for the correct purpose (relaying a whistle command, informing of a situation that requires game-play to halt) |
