Background: Susan grew up in Bismarck, North Dakota the middle child of
three. An older sister, Kristen 37, and younger brother Michael 27. From the
age of ten, Susan could play the guitar. Her mother would play and sing at
fairs that would be held. Although Susan loved music she always wanted to be
a doctor and help people, and didn't take long after she was 16 and her
family bought a computer that she started researching her possibilities of
becoming what she always wanted and her family never stood in her way. Susan
never slacked at school and was on top with all her school work all through
high school, bringing home excellent grades. Her determination led her
parents to think that she made a good decision in what she wanted to be, she
was a very strong person. After she graduated from high school and her mind
firmly made up, she went off to NYU to become a doctor. Through her seven
year residency, she learned a lot. And although the schooling was hard, her
stamina and drive to learn as much as she could kept her going full force.
She tried to go about learning all different things in the medical field.
After seven years she earned her Ph.D. and M.D., but even after her seven
years she wanted to get one more year in and learn a little more. She picked
up some useful stuff in her last year there and felt that she did a good
thing by staying the extra year. Soon after her eighth year she knew it was
time to put what she learned to work. Susan moved into the NYU Downtown
Hospital, where she worked her way up to be one of the top doctors in her
field of training. After current events in the St. Pete hospital, Susan
decided to move down there to fill in for the doctor shortage. She figured it
would be a slow pace compaired to the work in New York so she packed up and
moved south.
