He hugged her back. "So, what do you want to-" He was cut off by a scream coming from some nearby alley. "Shit." She looked back up to his eyes and listened to him, she smiled then heard the scream. She sighed. "Duty calls, lets go." She took his hand and started to the alley they heard the scream come from.
He went with her, taking the lead a little bit. He'd be damned if they got caught off guard again or if somebody snatched Jade again. He turned down the alley and saw a kid who was probably in his early twenties attacking a girl. He let out a growl and went up to him, grabbing him by the back of his collar and yanking him up and away from the girl.
Jade ran down the alley after Dagon and saw the girl on the ground, not wanting her to see what was going to happen she took the girl by the arm and led her out of the alley and made sure she was okay.
"You picked a bad hobby, son. Now you're gonna quench my thirst." He growled and bared his fangs. The kid seemed more pissed off then frightened. "Are you nuts? Do you know who the fuck I am?" "Yea," Dagon said. "Dinner." With that he sunk his fangs into the kid's neck and drained him fully, dropping his corpse to the ground. He turned and left the alley, looking for Jade. "Fucking lowlifes." he mumbled.
The girl was more frightened then anything, Jade made sure she was safe before she went back for Dagon. She found him and walked up to him. "She's okay, just a little shaken up."
"Well, she doesn't have anything to worry about now. I took care of the brat that was attacking her." He wrapped an arm around Jade again. "So, as I was saying before we were so rudely interrupted. What would you like to do now?" She looked into his eyes and smiled. "Oh I have an idea." She said in a sexy tone and gave him that flirty look as she started walking back to his place.
He smiled and started to follow her back to his place. "Who says it doesn't pay to be good?" She just winked back at him and continued walking. She really loved Dagon, he was this tough guy that could be really sweet and tender. She never thought she'd be with him that way, being the start they had in the past.
