| Silver Poisoning | ||
| Sara leaned against a wall heavily. Suddenly, a wave of dizzyness had come over her. She tried to regain her balance, but it didn't seem to be coming. Her legs grew wobbily. Before she knew it, she was sliding down the wall and sitting on her knees. Josh was walking looking for a couple more mortals before he would retire to his apartment and await for night fall once again. He didn't hear Sara behind him as he was walking and he stopped, turning around. He saw her go down to her knees and went over to her. Kneeling down in front of her stroking her hair. "Are you okay?" "I feel... weak," she said, still leaning against the wall heavily. Her stomach started to shudder and she felt naseous. She retched a couple times, then threw up. The vomit was mostly red with blood, but in it could be seen two bullets, one of them silver. She continued to retch a few more times. He tried to comfort her, he looked down as she threw up and saw the bullets. He picked one up and looked at it. "I'll kill that Brit if it's the last thing I do." He looked at her and dropped the bullet. "I'll be right back." She nodded weakly before retching again. A little more vomit came up, more of a muccusy kind. It dripped slowly off of her lips. Her eyes were squinted and a cold sweat had formed on her brow. It felt like one of those nights in her early teenage years when she had first started to drink and ended up puking near the end of the night. He walked off in search for food, the silver had messed up her stomach. He wasn't sure if she should feed more or just sleep and await to feed when night came again. Sara slowly pushed herself back up. She looked up, after Josh, then started to shuffle after him, still leaning against the wall. She didn't want him to leave her so she fought through the weakness and followed him. Hearing her behind him he stopped and turned to face her. "You should stay there, you're weak and need to save your strenght." He walked up to her and kissed her forehead, as he pushed some hair from her face. She shook her head slightly, looking at him. There was a bit of a look of sadness in her eyes. "Where are you going?" "To find us some food before the sun comes up, it'll be up soon." He looked around for food not seeing any, it was that time of night when most everyone that wasn't foolish to be out was at home in bed. "Or would you rather we just go home and sleep?" She nodded. "Sleep sounds good." She felt as though she could curl up next to him and sleep forever. He nodded to her, seeing how weak she was he picked her up and started carrying her back to his place. He really wanted to get her fed but if sleep was what she wanted more, he would comply. He made it home and gently placed her down on the bed. Striping down to his boxers he crawled into bed. She snuggled closer to Josh as he got into bed. She curled up next to him, wrapping her arms around him and moving her head onto his shoulder. She looked almost like a little kid holding onto her security blanket. The only thing missing was her sucking her thumb. He put his arm around her and held her close, leaning up he kissed the top of her head then laid his head back down on his pillow and closed his eyes. --- Sara "I Feel Sick" Fielding Joshua "Big Daddy" Maclachlan |
